- United and Southwest shopping portal bonuses
- Blacklane was all about airport transfers, now they’re looking to intercity trips
- Wow, American schedules 4 daily Boeing 777s between Dallas and Orlando for the holidays, including a Boeing 777-300ER.

- Meanwhile American’s Cancun hub gets four more widebodies – as the airline’s long haul international fleet gets redeployed to short haul leisure destinations.
American Airlines loaded a LOT of changes to its winter schedule, including more widebody routes. Thread of changes:
– JFK to Cancun 1x daily 777-200ER from Dec. 2

- Calls for another military coup in Thailand. Is the last one really over, when the country is led by the general who fronted the last coup? Remember these calls for ‘law and order’ include crackdowns on street food in Bangkok, not just crackdowns on protests against the king!
- Etihad has received over $22 billion in cumulative subsidies which was never a violation of U.S.-U.A.E. Open Skies agreements to begin with and the U.S. government has provided far more in subsidies this year alone and in the past, too.
If you’ve got em, fly em! Can’t believe DL got rid of their “brand new” 777s. Apparently they’ll be sold off to the highest bidder, not put in storage for later. I guess this pandemic stuff is serious… :O
I’m trying to figure why the widebodies between Orlando and Dallas. Are people fleeing the pandemic in Florida? Or is there a huge demand for people to fly to a giant pandemic hotspot in Orlando?
@Christian – people are going to head to Florida for the holidays, at least that’s what airlines are betting.
Delete Q suite stuff. No one reading your blog will travel through Qatar or to Qatar. Those who participated in the evil abuses need to receive the death penalty for crimes against humanity. Even then, boycott Qatar.
@Jackson – They have meds these days that will take away the voices in your head telling you this crazy stuff. Talk to your doctor about getting you on some Thorazine. That would be more constructive than giving orders to Gary about what he can and cannot publish.
@Christian
What happened in Qatar is disgusting. If anyone on this blog will ever travel on Qatar Airways, he or she needs to be on meds. Everyone who participated in the Qatar situation is a criminal of the highest degree. Just following orders is a poor excuse.
