News notes from around the interweb:
- Southern Europe is open to tourism, people aren’t going (NYT)
- Reduced flying makes weather harder to predict
- Icelandair won’t fire all its flight attendants and replace them with pilots after all
- $3700/night 3-bedroom villa with ocean view for 50,000 Hyatt (or Chase) points per night
- “Father of Global Entry” retires from government
- Even the Bahamas, which was practicing Covid security theater will close to tourists from the U.S. on Wednesday.
Lucky already covered this story
Unreal Bahamas had the balls to do this. Their entire economy depends on US tourists.
Hopefully other islands follow.
Gary you’re deliberately confusing list-price with value to generate clicks. Just because some swindler wants to offer a room at 3,700.00 per night doesn’t make it worth that much.
