News and notes from around the interweb:
- Rumor: Southwest to fly holiday redeyes
[T]he plan as of now is to announce red-eyes will start Spring 2025 at at a potential September investor event, with a handful of red-eyes to be loaded into the schedule for Thanksgiving and the Christmas/New Years period as a test.
- Proposed class action lawsuit against American Airlines for selling fraudulent carbon credits. A class action against Delta is harder, since they were the ones paying for carbon credits that were obviously scams though that’s probably securities fraud. (HT: Paul H)
- Barclays AAdvantage Aviator Red Mastercard 70,000 after first purchase and paying the annual fee within the first 90 days
- The case against (very frequent) travel
- The fear is not irrational. The only hotel I’ve been to that uses Mojave Ghost was ResortsWorld Las Vegas.
- A rant after my own heart
- While I continue to believe that a 48 hour stopover once in Doha is worthwhile, if only to visit the Museum of Islamic Art, while you’re there please do not date or curse while squatting.

Seems like someone posing like Burt Reynolds’ centerfold is asking to have their picture taken.
A redeye on WN with all those screaming little seat kickers? Sounds like pure misery.
Carbon “offsets” or Catholic indulgences.
Mother Nature still loses even after these offsets. They all have been bogus and are just “forced charity contributions” to existing entities. Nothing is about offsetting or making the projects bigger. Just paying for the existing org operation. .
Flying once every 9.4 days on average is “normal for the average person?” She’s a nut.
I wonder if dating is allowed on Qatar flights.
I’d rather have “Ghost Load” in my shampoo than “Mojave Ghost” I would imagine.
I wonder if Qatar includes Christian Churches in their “Not Respecting Places of Worship” rule.
