Meanwhile Emirates has introduced the world’s an Airbus A380 with over 600 seats. It will fly Dubai-Bangkok and Copenhagen starting December 1 and Kuala Lumpur in January. (So far my own Dubai – Bangkok flight in January is unaffected.)

Let’s remember the surge in radiation you get as an airline passenger if you’re flying during a solar storm. I’d rather stay home during these times, even if you are going to get spectacular views of the aurora (maybe even from your plane window).
