Four men were involved in a battle royale at the Chicago O’Hare American Airlines terminal 3, where wet floor signs were turned into weapons and the three-against-one smackdown included an employee at the airport.
The solo fighter in white t-shirt defended himself using various items, as the combatants would fall one after another and rise up to return to the fight. The player in white apparently yanked dreadlocks from one of his opponents, who also used wet floor signs in the melee. It’s not clear what precipitated the conflict.

Here’s another angle:
Seeing the hair ripped from the top of the head of one of the men makes me wonder whether it’s O’Hare or OhMyHair?
Most striking, to me, about these incidents is always how long it takes for a law enforcement response considering that there’s nowhere on earth with as many different agencies on site as a major international airport – from TSA, to local police, to DEA to customs and border enforcement – not to mention FBI.
Over the summer, a Frontier Airlines passenger threw a computer at Chicago O’Hare check-in staff after missing her flight. Last year, a brawl broke out at a Spirit Airlines baggage belt at O’Hare. Notably, these incidents took place in Chicago and didn’t even involve a gun.
At first all of the links didn’t work or required signing on so I found it with a search on [Chicago O’Hare Airport Brawl: Men Seen Swinging ‘Wet Floor’ Signs In Wild Video].
I’ve traveled the world, primarily to countries that are deemed third-world. Yet this behavior is viewed as common only in the US. As a society, this country has lost all decency and is only getting worse.
Shocking? No, not shocking.
what the hell? Peace on earth Goodwill to men
At close to that very landside spot at ORD this year, I have sometimes seen 3 uniformed police officers shooting the breeze amongst each other — sometimes using foul language among themselves. So maybe they were busy while not patrolling themselves for NSFW language while on duty in a public area.
The usual suspects behaving like this is normal.
Obviously booked on flight 1350.
And this is why I never fly American, or Spirit, or anyone else that goes out of Terminal 3. I’m warm and comfy in my neon-tunnel-connected universe of Terminal 1 with occasional ventures into Terminal 2 for RJ trips. And GUWonder can go pound his Chicago insults up his capacious bunghole.
It’s hard to believe that your biggest take on this is the slow response of the security force.
What is the risk/reward one must wonder. Security is probably making slightly more than minimum wage. Their end result from intervention in these ridiculous conflicts is likely to be punishment. Dismissal from their job, frivolous suit filed against them by combatant’s family (if injury results) or personal injury suffered themselves.
It seems one should be more annoyed by the frequency of this type of misbehavior.
So it goes.
Mick Foley would be proud!
“Ohare is my second home” doesn’t realize that ORD is one of my most preferred airports. And during ORD’s quietest days of the pandemic period, I was probably among ORD’s top 10-15 most frequent international retuning passengers.
Not sure what is insulting about the fact that I have repeatedly seen and heard the cops at very close to this very area at ORD using inappropriate language while standing around there chatting while in uniform and on duty. It’s not appropriate
