After four days of deliberations, the San Francisco jury found that Marriott failed to sufficiently assist concierge Daniel Callahan after he suffered a spinal cord injury in 2014 that rendered him unable to walk without a cane and a prosthetic device.
Callahan, of San Francisco, could not work without pain after the hotel chain completed a multimillion-dollar renovation that eliminated leg space beneath the concierge workstation, according to the deRubertis Law Firm, which represented him. Despite pleas from Callahan and his doctors, Marriott refused to allow him to sit while working, his lawyers said.

- United Airlines will no longer codeshare with LOT Polish
- Notes on South India I’ve found Chennai to be a very much underrated destination. The Park Hyatt there, by the way, is incredible value. When I stayed there I paid less than $100 per night, on a random night I searched I saw $109 room rates without any discount applied. Which was great considering I was upgraded to a suite and had free room service or restaurant breakfast.
India has very poor air quality. Be aware
