Stack 30% + 10% Discounts On Alaska Airlines Tickets

Through February 14, Alaska Airlines is offering 30% off many itineraries with promo code BOOKING4LOVE. (HT: yelped) This offer stacks with another opportunity to save 10%.

30% off details:

  • Travel in Economy between February 25 – May 26, 2021
  • Day of week restrictions: To Hawaii, Mexico, and Costa Rica valid Sundays – Wednesdays;
    From Hawaii, Mexico, and Costa Rica valid Tuesdays – Fridays; all other cities valid Mondays – Thursdays.
  • 10% off: other days of the week and first class
  • Blackout dates: March 19-21, 26-28, April 2-4, 9-11, 16-18, 2021

You can stack this 30% discount with 10% off buying Alaska Airlines e-mail gift certificates from Costco. You have to be a Costco member to buy $500 in Alaska Airlines credit for $450. Note of course that wholesale clubs are a Chase Freedom family 5x category this quarter, too.

Since this is 10% off the payment method as well as a separate discount on the fare, you don’t even lose out when you stack these, e.g. 30% off $100 is $70, and 10% off that would be just $63. But here you actually are buying Alaska tickets at 40% off, and can be earning 5x on the purchase to boot.

Comments

  1. The fact there are day of week restrictions and black out days during a pandemic says Alaska is still tone deaf. Waiting for a massive devaluation once Alaska joins One World.

  2. @Gene really? Less than $300 fare less 20% plus 5x UR points for transcontinental in First. $240 seems like a pretty good deal not even allowing for the miles earned.
