Subscribe to Buy Star Alliance Miles Monthly at 1.39 Cents Apiece
Avianca’s LifeMiles program is introducing ‘subscriptions’ to buy miles.
Plans start at $11 per month. That’s buying 8000 miles for $131.88 or 1.65 cents apiece. However the price per mile quickly falls. The $32.99 plan is buying miles at 1.41 cents per mile.
Buy Miles at 1.47 Cents Apiece from Star Alliance Program LifeMiles
Star Alliance member Avianca LifeMiles is selling miles with up to a 125% bonus.
They bonus miles purchases very frequently. Sometimes selling miles for even less than the 1.47 cents apiece under this deal, for instance at the end of November they were selling at 1.35 miles apiece.
Avianca LifeMiles Will Expire in 12 Months, Only Accrual (Not Redemption) Will Extend
Star Alliance member Avianca’s LifeMiles program is useful for frequently reasonable redemptions, no fuel surcharges, and regularly selling miles on the cheap.
Miles have expired after 24 months of account inactivity, and until now any activity has been enough to reset the clock. Starting April 15th they’re revising the rules to say miles expire after 12 months and only earning more miles resets the clock, not redeeming miles.
