Order 4 More Covid-19 Tests Free From The Postal Service This Week

Mar 07 2022

With the pandemic hopefully winding down, the federal government is sending out tests at no cost to recipients (‘free’). They’re using the US Postal Service to distribute them and perhaps not surprisingly many report not getting the tests they ordered. (Oddly, the first time around they actually sent me too many tests.

However with much less need for testing now – The 7 day moving average of U.S. reported cases are down 94% from their January 16th peak – only half of the 500 million tests the government ordered have been spoken for. Each household was permitted to order (4) tests previously, no matter how many people lived at a residential address. Starting this week households can order a second set of four tests.

How to Score Free Bottled Water at Hotels

3 cases of water
Mar 31 2019

The gym is always a go-to source for me. And when a hotel does provide free bottled water in the room I’ll usually hide any bottles I haven’t consumed in my luggage in case the hotel brings more. I wouldn’t want them to think I was already stocked.

In much of the world you can drink the tap water though whenever I’m uncertain I avoid it. I’d rather drink filtered water (hopefully they change the filters) and I want to use my own or a hotel-gifted bottle, not the hotel’s glasses in the bathroom which may or may not be clean.

Free Hotel Discount Site Signup Ends January 7

hotel dining
Dec 31 2018

Last week I wrote about a Club1 Hotels offer. It’s a membership site that offers discounts on hotel bookings. Since they normally charge a fee to join their hotel rates aren’t subject to hotel ‘best rate guarantee’ policies and they frequently offer savings compared to how hotel websites are pricing.

Their membership has been priced at $675 for a year, but they’re giving away one year memberships that provides access to discounts. It’s worth signing up just to check out pricing.

Free Goldpoints

Feb 09 2008

Goldpoints can no longer be earned after March 31. And if you signed up for your Goldpoints account through Radisson Hotels, your account was transferred to their separate (and continuing) Goldpoints Plus program. But it’s still possible to earn points in the old program for about two months (which won’t transfer to Goldpoints Plus, but can be redeemed for various things like food at TGI Friday’s). You can bring your Goldpoints account number with you to TGI Friday’s and get 2008 free Goldpoints by printing out a coupon. Copy the following URL into your web browser and replace the bolded text with your information: http://tgif.rsys1.net/servlet/campaignrespondent?_ID_=tgif.111&name=YOUR_FIRST_NAME%20YOUR_LAST_NAME& e mail=YOUR_EMAIL_ADDRESS Meanwhile, once the program ends, you still have plenty of time to redeem the points you’ve accumulated. Meanwhile, NotiFlyer has details on a Goldpoints Plus (the Radisson program)…

9,000 Free Miles for bmi Diamond Club signup

bmi diamond club
Jan 17 2008

Currently on the main bmi Diamond Club page is an offer to join the program (promotion code FF19KD) and receive 9,000 miles straight away. Terms and conditions of the offer are pretty much as you’d expect: you get 9,000 miles added to your account within 3 business days of signup, and don’t you dare open up a second account for the purpose of taking advantage of this offer! I’d save up my miles rather than just grabbing the free redemption this offers, however: 9,000 destinations miles is sufficient for 1 return direct flight with bmi or our Star Alliance partners in the UK, or between the UK and Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Republic of Ireland, Switzerland. All flights are strictly subject to availability. The real value in the bmi program is cash and…
