Woman Loses It: She Was Told To “Pipe Down” After Defending Passenger’s Right To Vape Inflight

Things didn’t go so well on a Ryanair flight from Tenerife to Bristol, where two inebriated women caused chaos. One, caught vaping in her seat, denied it despite holding the vape pen. Her friend’s loud defense turned into a profanity-laden tirade – she lost it after being told to “pipe down” – even after a passenger asked them to stop due to children nearby.

She then began defending her parenting.. using explicit language. Crew members attempted to escort her off the aircraft, but she responded with a vulgar insult towards a flight attendant.

Flight Takes Off With Plane’s Door Still Open

We’ve seen belligerent or drunk passengers try to open the door of a commercial aircraft while inflight. And unless the plane is at sufficiently low altitude, or a door’s seal fails, it will almost always be pressurized such that this is impossible.

What I don’t think I’ve seen before is an flight that takes off with a door that’s still open!

Boeing 737 Nose Gear Fails When Flight Touches Down In Dublin

The Boeing 737-800 (registration EI-DHH) touched down on runway 28L, veered to the left off of the runway, but pilots managed to get the aircraft back onto the runway. Air traffic control instructed the arriving aircraft behind it to perform a go-around while cockpit crew of the Ryanair flight sought guidance on whether their aircraft was on fire or emitting smoke.

Ryanair Refused Pandemic Refunds, Extorts Passengers Who Get Help From Credit Card Companies

Many customers took it upon themselves to seek help when airlines refused refunds during the pandemic. Some credit card companies were more helpful than others. American Express, apparently, was most likely to process chargebacks against Ryanair. After all, you cannot keep money for services that haven’t been delivered.

Now customers who succeeded with chargebacks, but bought new tickets for travel, are being told to return the refunds or their trips are off.
