News and notes from around the interweb:
- Hotel document reveals how it spies on you to improve service
- Inside the Singapore Airlines Training Center what it takes to become a flight attendant. Cabin crew undergo 15 weeks of initial training. That contrasts with United at 5 weeks.
- How to travel with sex toys. And remember you can hide sex toys in a friend’s carry on, just make sure to stick a bottle of water in there too so the TSA unpacks the bag at the checkpoint.
- 11 year old unaccompanied minor was “left to fend for himself at the Azerbaijan airport” when an Air India Delhi – London flight diverted.
- Club Carlson is offering up to triple points through October 31
- Vanilla Ice goes off on a Delta gate agent after he misses the cut-off for boarding his flight.
How UA FA training compares with SQ training: It is not just 5 weeks vs. 15 weeks that tells the story. Considering the IQ of the average UA FA is much lower than that of the average SQ FA, the difference in training levels is all the more shocking
I love the Vanilla Ice picture above. It looks like he’s on some REALLY good drugs, trying to perform a Jedi mind trick or something..
I’d proffer that the average SQ FA rates higher than the average UA FA on more than just IQ (and training).
DANG IT! They took the Vanilla Ice video down. I’d love to see his rant.
Remove the batteries from all battery-operated devices — even if you think they’re difficult to turn on. In San Francisco, of course, we’ve got your sparkly pink welcome mat right here. And if you lose your lube, we’ll have you covered. Literally.
Thank god they already started producing toys that even James Bond would have trouble recognizing for what they actually are. I am saved from shame everytime I fly 🙂
Just remove the lube and batteries from your toy/toy box and you should be Ok. But beware of traveling with sex toys to Arab countries, they have pretty harsh laws and you can get in trouble.
Totally agree with you all! No doubt that this requires some planning if you choose some countries.
