News and notes from around the interweb:
- The lounge is not a refugee camp. Get your feet off the couches. And don’t – under any circumstances – put those bare feet on another traveler’s belongings.
Update I went to the bathroom and I come back to find his nasty ass feet by my backpack so I moved #lounge @prioritypasscom https://t.co/ynuicOnuVI pic.twitter.com/7dJRKnzasR

- “He’s asking for the supervisors supervisors supervisor. This man wants to talk to John United. The entitlement is legendary.” “Scott Kirby needed at gate D19. Scott Kirby needed at gate D19.”
- Flight attendants who vape, even though it’s illegal crew usually aren’t going to bust each other the way they would a passenger..
- United’s flight attendants union is hard-selling the new contract that gives them inflation adjustment for wages and guts the quality of hotels that the airline must put them up in during layovers.
Do other unions act like this or it’s just at ?

The article above may have mistaken DTW? Here’s the official map from Iberia’s investor presentation that El Economista reported on.
The 2 northeast dots seem to be YYZ/YUL, not DTW/YYZ.
Some of these dots aren’t placed perfectly, but I don’t think they would mistakenly put DTW… pic.twitter.com/sC4P0aCojA

- Major changes expected for Aeroplan status qualification starting next year
Status qualification will change in a big way, with Status Qualifying Credit (SQC) seeming to replace SQM/SQS/SQD, and there are also some changes to earning Aeroplan points.
Since lounge access has been credit card driven I’ve seen people essentially set up a camp site in the lounge. Dogs barking. Juvenile delinquents running amuck while parents are getting totaled at the bar. People listing to something on their phone or video calls with headphones.
All the boorish behavior you see at the gate can now be seen at the clubs, including the premium lounges.
lounges might not be refugee camps, but the clientele is certainly tending toward the homeless. ..And then you’re stuck on a plane with them for hours,,,,
Oh my gosh, a quick look at that new CRJ, and all I can think is: time to start gate checking carryons.
Ohh the anger… this guy just handed you an easy article submission that hits your audience rage click – not sure you’re the right person to be so angry about this.
That’s why I hate flying. You cannot predict human behavior.
I’m just coming from breakfast here at a Hilton in LAX . Same trashy people, some kids, same lack of consideration. Who else hates traveling these days?
