  1. Put masks to the side, does everyone agree that there should be a do-not-fly list for someone who is convicted of something like this? Or at least giving the court discretion over such in sentencing? As conservative Bill Bennett asked, has there been death of outrage?

  2. The Nassau precheck has been operating (apparently as a trial) for some time now. Was pleasantly surprised by it in October. My son looked at our tickets and said we had precheck. I laughed and said that, yeah, it says that, but we’re not in the US so doesn’t really mean anything. He says, no, there’s TSA precheck, right over there!

  3. @ Reno Joe. Yes, upon conviction by a court of law and imposed by a judge. I’m not sure a judge could not do that now, i.e., order a defendant to refrain from flying. As I understand Bastian, he wanted a list administratively imposed based on a report filed by Delta.

  4. It’s so weird that all the bloggers throw hate at IHG for lack of elite benefits for years and all are shocked there is an award calendar. It’s been like that for years. The fun part is using the IHG calendar for high-end properties to see that they don’t open up award space.
