Earlier I wrote that the TSA would start requiring airline employees to be in uniform in order to be eligible to use Known Crewmember lanes for airport security. This change was supposed to go into effect on Wednesday.
However TSA has backed down in the face of employees’ union objections and the requirement will not go into effect.
The more people that use KCM the shorter the TSA lines are for the rest of us.
Union scum being union scum. If you’re not working, you’re a passenger. Behave like one.
Leaving aside the massive loophole that giving special treatment to any crew other than actual-flight crew is.
Thank god the TSA backed down, otherwise off duty crew couldn’t jump the line. In fact, I think Disney and Universal should institute line jumping on rides for off duty employees as well.
Fred – get a clue. Nothing like commenting on a topic you know nothing about.
This is in response to the threat of “Halloween”.
