Jeffrey Epstein was one of the most notorious men in the United States. Perhaps he was protected by a spy agency, or had managed on his own to blackmail powerful people with photos of their terrible deeds in exchange for lucrative investing business and gifts (or offered those people access to horrible deeds in exchange for their business).
We may never know the full truth behind the man, especially now that he’s dead, although it’s possible Ghislaine Maxwell might talk.
What we do know is that there are numerous claims against his estate by women who say he abused him, and made them available for others to abuse. And the assets of that estate are potentially available to pay claims. One of those assets is a Boeing 727.
Reportedly passengers on the plane included Prince Andrew, former U.S. President Bill Clinton, famed attorney Alan Derschowitz, actor Kevin Spacey and comedian Chris Tucker. Others alleged to have flown on the jet include former national security adviser Sandy Berger and former Colombian president Andrés Pastrana. The aircraft was known as the “Lolita Express.”
The plane is currently being stored at Brunswick Golden Isles Airport, about 70 miles from Jacksonville in Southeast Georgia. According to an aviation consultant who toured the plane in March on behalf of a potential buyer, the plane has “velour-upholstered reclining chairs, love seats and [an] on-board bed.”
“When you get inside the aircraft, it’s a playground. Everything lays out to be a bed. That was kind of creepy,” [consultant] McCloskey said.
“It’s not like the aircraft is set up for a business meeting — because it’s not. There’s no chairs for anyone to sit in, except for the lie-flat chairs.”
He added that the interior design looked like something from the Disco Era.
“You get on Epstein’s airplane and it’s decorated from the 1970s. I mean, you would almost think that Elvis flew on this thing because it’s like velour, and bright red colors,” he said.
The plane, with registration N908JE, is owned by JEGE, Inc. It flew to Georgia in July 11, 2017 from West Palm Beach and has sat there ever since. It’s got Pratt & Whitney JT8D engines and is an ex-TWA bird originally delivered July 7, 1969.
The aircraft was previously registered as N505LS, and “was briefly registered with Hayes Productions LLC which share the address with Les Wexner’s L Brand.” Les Wexner’s own Boeing 737 has also been “registered with Hayes Productions LLC at L Brand’s address.”

The blackmail/entrapment/self-dealing scam Epstein was fronting included his residences. Why wouldn’t it include his planes? Have they checked the plane for surveillance/hidden camera placement? Or did Epstein try to cover up/stop that approach after being given a sweetheart deal by/via Acosta?
I would assume that all of the flights Bill Clinton took on this plane involved US Secret Service being with Clinton. Even at wedding parties, Clinton has the USSS — who are law enforcement officers — escort in tow when a restroom visit is involved. Flights on this plane wouldn’t be an exception.

Sure the interior is dated style-wise, but how could anyone be shocked that a billionaire has a private jet kitted out with lie-flat seats and a bed. I have seen any amount of private jets with similar layout on the AV blogs.

The Trumpistas have a hit list set up for this week’s DNC speakers. Using Jeffrey Epstein works to take aim at Clinton and Trump, but the real aim for him is to see Biden defeated in November.

I enjoy your blog Gary but this post really seems unnecessary and voyeuristic. The sickening likelihood is that underage girls were coerced into sex on that plane. Are images of the interior really worth describing and posting?

He probably misses being home after school was out and getting in some couch potato time to watch Jerry Springer when no one was watching him watch it.
It was certainly a show meant to appeal to the base desires of some people wanting to see the wrecked segments of America and the people with a willingness to be a walking and talking embarrassment of sort on national TV.
I have to agree with @Jason. I realize that times are tough for miles/travel bloggers, but more and more this site is turning into a tabloid. It’s a shame as you are a really smart guy @Gary, and I respect your analysis of many other legitimate discussions on policies, miles, etc. A few odd stories thrown in now and then is fine…but it’s becoming a daily thing.
It’s your blog, do what you want, but View is becoming less and less important to me click wise from my bookmarks. I am often forgetting or skimming by quickly nowadays. And, you may be a nice guy, but as Jason said, this is not the content of someone calling themselves an industry “thought leader.”
