Trying to find something nice to say about taking @SpiritAirlines on Spring Break… We didn’t die. They had the most convenient flight times for our schedule, but I won’t make that mistake again.

They’re not exactly my cup of tea, but despite what Calley says, Spirit is running a pretty decent airline these days. Their flights are generally on time and reliable and the value proposition is excellent.
Not pressed to have the American Express black card. But if they approach me, I won’t turn them away. It has to be under certain conditions that I turn AMEX away.
What is it with airline awards? This makes even Skytrax almost appear credible.
As a centurion card holder, the LAX Private Suite “free membership” is a scam as a benefit. As a “member”, you get a discounted rate for each time you want to use the Private Suite terminal. You’re still spending thousands of dollars each time you want to use the terminal even if you have the “free $4,500 membership”. See here: https://theprivatesuite.com/membership/
