Free Frequent Flyer Miles posts a link to an offer of 100 free Continental Airlines miles.
100 easy Continental Airlines miles, apparently for letting them know that you read about earning miles by paying your bills automatically via the airline’s credit and debit cards.
What’s most interesting to me is this — there have long been reports that many of these offers are specific to things that someone with a co-branded Continental Airlines credit card might take advantage of, but the terms and conditions of the offers never said anything about requiring such a card in order to receive the bonus miles.
There have been reports of folks not getting the miles, usually folks who don’t have the card. I’ve never known it personally, I do have their card, one of the nice benefits I value is double miles when shopping through the Continental Onepass online mall.
But still, it was infuriating when miles wouldn’t post for people without the card when the terms and conditions didn’t require having the card…
Well it looks like with this 100 mile offer, they’ve fixed that. But changing the rules to require the card.
Offer valid only for Continental Airlines/Chase Credit and Debit Cardmembers and Continental Airlines/First Hawaiian Bank Credit and Debit Cardmembers.
It seems as though they had been enforcing this rule for awhile, I suppose it’s good that they’ve at least now told us.
Gary, just to let you know. You do not have to use your Continental credit/debit card when shopping thorough their mall. As long as you posses the card, you will get double miles.
Definitely pent subject material, be thankful in support of picky facts . baffafaaaabb
