How to Get Your Name (and Face!) Painted on a Plane

Ryanair is sooooo 2009. They’ve just launched a Facebook page and they have a promotion where they’ll put the names and faces of 30 people on 30 of their planes.

It can’t hurt to enter, and could be fun to play with their Facebook feature where you can download a plane with you on it as well.

To celebrate its new Facebook account and 30th birthday, Ryanair has launched a ‘30 Names 30 Planes’ competition, offering 30 fans the chance to have their name and face pictured on one of 30 Ryanair aircraft. Entry is through the Ryanair Facebook page, where fans can upload their photo and download a CGI video of their own Ryanair aircraft bearing their name and face, and the 30 lucky winners will be announced in September.

It can’t hurt to enter, you could wind up on a plane!

  1. That’s a better prize than a free ticket and actually having to fly on that airline. Made that mistake once. Never again!

  2. So did you tell them why your face should be on the plane?
Something like: I want to win because I have a blog called “View from the Wing” and I want to know what’s it’s like to have a “View from the Nose”.
