News and notes from around the interweb:
- King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, Saudi Arabia is bigger than all of Singapore
- Google suspending accounts is a good reminder that you can download a backup of all your Google data which just seems like a good idea, but most of you still won’t do it.
- 15 of the world’s most beautiful train stations
- Singapore Airlines special Teochew menu
- Cockroach found in passenger’s meal on Air India flight to Chicago. While everyone will criticize Air India meals this is hardly anything new. When Air India finds rats onboard they still serve passengers their meals.
- First class passengers booed when an American Airlines pilot asked passengers to stay seated after a late arrival in Phoenix so the family of a soldier killed in Afghanistan could make their connection to meet their son’s arriving body. In perhaps a first, the pilot of their connecting flight to Philadelphia waited D0 be damned. I have to think the flight attendant announcement here was unclear.
Booing passengers were most likely Trump supporters as they think they’re more entitled than other Americans. I couldn’t help my self, down with Trump and his supporters.
That Singapore menu looks super tasty! xo Loren // http://www.thinkelysian.com
Booing passengers were most likely Clinton supporters as they think they’re in a safe space and do whatever the heck they want. I couldn’t help my self, down with Clinton and her pathetic snowflakes.

I am disgusted that both “sides” are making this into a finger pointing. This is such a sad story and I am embarrassed that the Gold Star Parents had to witness this. Who cares who the Boo’ers voted for?

If you actually read the link provided to the DailyMail interview of the deceased soldier’s father….the father stated,
He also mentioned that there is a disrespect for the loved ones left behind by veterans and called out president-elect Donald Trump’s campaign rhetoric and his remarks about the Khan family.
‘One example would be Donald Trump speaking badly about a Gold Star family, who I now am, but it also bothers me that people don’t want to talk about the terrorism that killed my kid,’ the marine veteran father said.
