Things can get super awkward in the sky when we’re all trapped inside a metal tube together — whether it’s Qantas offering on demand sex ed through its entertainment system, a celebrity’s child peeing on a brand new Vietnam Airlines Airbus A350, a child forced to pee on her seat on JetBlue (the airline apologized) or passengers urinating on each other inflight (also on JetBlue).

And with planes full and stress high during the holidays, passengers can go to extreme lengths to be terrible. But we don’t usually hear of such bad behavior on the ground as a man who had several drinks before going to the Memphis airport, needing to ‘go’, and deciding to do so “beside a woman who was sleeping inside the terminal.”

In what may be perhaps the exact opposite of the spirit of Christmas, “[t]wo airport employees pass by the woman sleeping on the ground under a row of chairs” and don’t do anything about what’s about to go down.

DeMarkus Bush was standing in the terminal peeing over a female passenger as she slept in a waiting area Thursday morning.

Bush, less than a foot away from the sleeping woman, pulls up his shirt and pulls down his pants and urinates. It all happens while the woman sleeps through what is happening inches from her face. Additionally, others in the airport are seen in the background continuing on with their day.

…Not long after the incident happened, an airport employee wakes the stunned woman up and breaks the news to her about what happened just moments before.

Then, the clean up begins.

He’s been charged with public intoxication and assault. According to an airport spokesperson, “We always tell our passengers if you see something, say something.” How about their employees?

Oh, did I mention the incident was captured on a security camera?
