Silver Airways has an extensive route network based out of Florida.
While the US government hasn’t yet announced which airlines will be able to fly which routes to Havana, airlines have been allowed to fly to as many other cities in Cuba as they wish (because there’s not a lot of demand, and airlines don’t wish to fly as many routes as the US and Cuba have negotiated).
Silver Airways has grabbed onto several route authorities out of Ft. Lauderdale:

The thing is, the rebate is in the form of a voucher for a future flight to be taken between September 5 and December 20. So this isn’t a true Cuba Libre — a rum and coke with lime, associated with Cuba’s independence from Spain.

Flights and places to stay via airbnb are much talked about.
l would REALLY love if you can write about car rentals in Cuba, and if there is a way to get wifi while there, like renting a portable wifi for continuous Internet connections. (This is a piece of cake in Japan. You pick it up at the post office in the airport, have it in your pocket, and return it to the post office when you depart Tokyo.)

The Castro regime has been accused of numerous human rights abuses, torture, arbitrary imprisonment, unfair trials, and extrajudicial executions, repressing all forms of political dissent. Cubans are systematically denied basic rights to free expression, association, assembly, privacy, movement, and due process of law. And Cuba had the second-highest number of imprisoned journalists of any nation.
Not to mention they were almost the trigger point of a nuclear war in 1962 with Russian nuclear missiles pointed at the US, just 90 miles away…
Have you ever been to China, Thailand, Vietnam, Russia and countless other countries that have poor human rights records? Don’t be so naive that Cuba is alone on this.
