Book Now: American Offering Up to 4 Business Class Award Seats to South America

Right now there’s reasonably good business class award availability on American Airlines from Dallas to Santiago through summer and Miami to Santiago through end of year. Indeed availability isn’t just for two passengers but possible for four as well.

Here’s business class award availability for four passengers Miami – Santiago.

American runs a Boeing 777-200 on the route, featuring fully flat direct aisle access seats — although some aircraft have Zodiac “Concept D” seats and others have B/E Aerospace Super Diamond seats.

There’s not yet a premium business class lounge in Dallas, that won’t open until 2019. But if you’re on the Miami flight you can use the new Flagship lounge there.

Beyond Santiago you can fly American’s oneworld partner LAN. And flights to and from either Dallas or Miami are included in a single AAdvantage award at 57,500 miles per person.

You can use British Airways points as well, and South America is a great place to do that since these flights don’t incur fuel surcharges (though of course each flight segment is priced separately). You can use Alaska Airlines miles as well.
