Supermodel Chrissy Teigen is a total frequent flyer geek.
Last year she even broke news about a flight turning back around to LAX due to a security issue when she and her husband John Legend were enroute to Tokyo. She’s even brunched with Chase Sapphire cardholders.

Chrissy Teigen is a cookbook author, and if there’s two things she has (really quite well-informed) opinions of it’s airlines and food. So she shared this take with her 10+ million twitter followers:
plane shrimp are bad. plane shrimp on avocado toast with capers??? dear god

Clearly she has proper taste:
NO!

And here’s when it occurs to her — she’s a celebrity, why shouldn’t an airline partner with her on their menu?
this seems like a good time for me to share my dream of curating an airline menu.

Airlines seem game:
We're always open to suggestions for our already famous packaged pretzel recipes. If there's a way to improve on our Airplane Cookies, we're all ears. Surely we can work together to come up with something amazing, right Tori? -Adam

Noooommzz! That would be the dream. Cravings 3 maybe? #Cravings3UpInTheAir -Sara

And the internet is all for it.
My problem is that @chrissyteigen hasn’t been asked by Delta to curate the in-flight menus. Or the menu in SkyClub. Please help.

Please let it be for @Delta !!!!

Already forwarded this to my colleagues at @AmericanAir Inflight Product Planning & Development. This needs to happen!
— Will Mohler (@will_mohler) December 10, 2018
Why doesn’t @americanair make this happen???

The question is, which carrier will be forward-thinking enough to engage Chrissy Teigen to design their inflight menu? Because that would be amazeballs.
I loved it when Melissa Joan Hart followed me on Twitter, but I’m truly jealous of Lucky from One Mile at a Time because this week Chrissy Teigen used the medium to react to his American Airlines lobster roll…
As a picky eater, the airlines try to infuse all their food with a bunch of weird sauces and spices and what not. Why try and make things so exotic? You can’t.
I would love a plain beef/fish/chicken option, but I will never see it.
I don’t get what people see in her.
I don’t need anyone telling me what is good and what is not. I had the best shrimp I ever consumed on a TWA flight in First to Paris. And WR I agree what is the big deal?
She should stick to what she does best. Which is nothing.
The hate is strong with some commenters. In all honesty would rather have a chef curate the menus, rather than a supermodel.
Supermodels are Supermodels because an entire three course lunch for them consists of 2 peas, half a french fry and half a cup of Super ColonBlow smoothie mix. I prefer something a bit more substantial.
Let’s leave the menus to the professional chefs.
No Thanks. Still can’t understand why she’s considered a supermodel!
