For travel between mid-October and early December, and again January through mid-May (in other words outside of peak holiday dates and before peak summer) you can get some amazing coach fares to Europe from across the U.S.
Travel is available to Zurich, Munich, Geneva, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Stuttgart, Vienna, Brussels, Berlin, and Dusseldorf and this deal is available for people departing from at least 30 different U.S. cities:
Search SkyScanner.com to find the lowest fares. For instance here’s Boston – Brussels at what looks like a $42 base fare roundtrip plus taxes and fees:
The cheapest fares are basic economy. You get a seat assignment and a carry on bag, but no free checked bags. The buy up to regular economy in some cases is modest.
These aren’t going to be great mileage-earners. They aren’t the most comfortable, you won’t be upgrading to business class. But they’re cheap fares, in many ways the world is more connected than ever and more accessible. Even as airlines cram more seats into planes modern times really are the greatest opportunity to fly.
Finding that many of the deals work out of MKE as well.
