News and notes from around the interweb:
- United sent ramp leads to NASCAR pit crew training to learn faster ways to turn aircraft
- The collapse of Jet Airways limited your access to mangos with less cargo capacity other airlines have reportedly increased rates for freight departing India.
- Aeromexico adding free inflight messaging on Boeing 787 aircraft. I remember when American rolled that out. Oh wait — no I don’t because they announced they were doing it to match Delta but they actually had their fingers crossed.
- It’s the Acronym Song!
- Amaze-balls.
- Uber’s COO and CMO are out. There will no longer be a COO, with rideshare and UberEATS reporting to the CEO. Marketing will report up to the head of media and public policy. The CMO had only been on board for a year. The departing COO had previously run Orbitz, which had been acquired by Expedia. The current CEO is the former CEO of Expedia.
The social media dude for MCO is hysterical. I’ve been following him for years.
