An employee at the Hilton Garden Inn El Paso University Hotel in Texas has been charged with 9 counts of ‘invasive visual recording’ after reportedly using his cell phone to record women in one of the hotel’s restrooms.
According to police the man “planted a hidden camera in a public restroom and recorded multiple women using the facilities” on February 21. The man, said to have previously been in prison for “hitting a woman over the head with a hammer,” was held on $45,000 bond.
Police said a report was filed after Monastere’s cell phone was discovered inside a restroom trashcan. The man was directing female patrons to use a particular restroom where he had positioned his cell phone to record their activities throughout the day, police said.
…[A group of nurses] claim they were recorded by Monastere’s cell phone while using the public restroom at the hotel during a conference [and that..]Monastere placed a sign that read “women’s restroom” and placed it on the door of a single restroom and placed another sign in a hallway directing women at the conference to use the same restroom.
Such incidents aren’t common but are far from unheard of. For instance a woman sued Hilton claiming a hotel employee videotaped her in the shower and used the photos to blackmail her. In South Korea there was even a hotel that had a pay streaming service letting viewers peer into guests’ hotel rooms. And a couple sued a DoubleTree claiming they were being spied on while having sex in their room.
Here’s how to check your room to know if you’re being spied on. And here’s how Erin Andrews makes sure no one is spying on her (again).
I took one look at the click bait and knew it was thought leader’s blog.
How to book cheap flights for Nigeria?
Guess that guy really is an a$$ hole from El Paso…
Gosh, imagine the damage he could have done if he pretended to be a woman and actually got into the women’s restr…..
