#NotOTD 25/03/1958: a Capital Airlines Viscout [N7445] makes an emergency landing in Michigan (US). All 19 aboard survive. On approach to Willow Run Airport, Detroit, aircraft had landing gear issues and crew was forced to make a “wheels up landing”. Aircraft was later repaired. pic.twitter.com/7mXV9zXbGE

- The Department of Justice is suing to block the American Airlines – JetBlue partnership because somehow American will strangle JetBlue and the latter will no longer offer leisure fares. In fact, it is JetBlue that’s growing in New York, taking slots from American which will have fewer flights (albeit more seats on larger aircraft).
- El Paso at number 3..?
- They ate the fish?

When you feel like you want to virtually strangle your employer or co workers because of workplace harassment, document them for future legal action if necessary. Physical violence is NOT the answer in retaliation of enduring workplace harassment.
Chicago is a sorry excuse for a city. What does it have going for it?
That’s unkind picking on Chicago. There’s this and that and the whatsitsname and the other thing that everyone enjoys and don’t forget the thingamabob.
@John Garvey, you’re a sorry excuse for a human being. What do you have going for you?
I loved the old Viscount and it’s not 73 years ago.. more like late ’60’s just as the jet-age dawned. It had large picture windows and quiet turboprops. Unlike the Electra (same concept) which vibrated a lot more and finally was scrubbed after too many wings fell off (from the harmonic vibrations). Now it’s commonly seen (and fixed structurally) as the P3-Orion antisubmarine Navy plane.
