- There’s a report that Aeroflot is intentionally ignoring maintenance issues, in order to avoid logging issues that might require grounding aircraft (and they have challenges getting the parts needed to fix them).
Meanwhile Aeroflot’s frequent flyer program has devalued its redemptions in some cases charging as much as 400% more miles.
- The Anarchist: Toronto’s anti-capitalist cafe is permanently closing. This comes after Canopy by Hilton London City was forced to drop the anarchist branding from its cafe. Fortunately Marriott’s The Socialist hotel in Copenhagen remains open and fighting the revolutionary fight with four classes of rooms, privileged access to the city, and room rates Marx could never have afforded.

I’m sure the conversation with the pilot goes something like this: “So, you don’t feel the plane is safe to fly in it’s current condition? If we can’t fly airplanes, you will not be needed, so we will refer you to Wagner.”
