  1. I believe the Russian regional jets are the Sukhoi Superjet 100 (heads up: also flown in Mexico for short-haul). I read somewhere that the replacemnt parts for these aircraft are manufactured in Germany. So looks like once again these specific planes will be cannibalized for replacement parts.

  2. Why editorialize and put a biased opinion in the headline instead of just presenting the news?

  3. Come on Gary. We’re at a point where the demonization of everything Russia is deemed mandatory in social media amd it’s out of hand. Aeroflot is just trying to survive under conditions as bad as those in Iran and North Korea. I’d say what they’re doing is necessary and wise.

  4. It is pathetic because they are making sure that the leased aircraft cannot be returned to their rightful owners and continuing to make money through Sochi and their own aircraft, which won’t last long without spare parts.

  5. Busby Berkeley would be proud, oh wait, he’s dead…the Sukoi SuperJet 100 has parts sourced all over Europe and US, so yes it would be limited when it came to maintenance.

  6. Because we deem it appropriate to not go into Ukraine, which I understand, all other measures must be taken to stop Putin. Before you worry about Russians and Russian airlines, take a good look at Ukraine and the dead men, women, and children. I hope every Russian company fails miserably. And I am sorry Putin sacrifices his own people for his egotistical and maniacal goals.

  7. You gotta love New Zealand, saying that they want to show their country to visitors but only rich people need apply.

  8. @David Stone: Aeroflot is getting what they deserve. They’re part and parcel of the corrupt Russian system.
@chris: It’s pathetic because Russia thinks it’s a major power in the world. But they can’t even make their own jet (or car, for that matter). They didn’t think they need to buy the planes, so they leased them from some firm in Ireland; now all of their jets are in jeopardy.

  9. @Darth Apu

Also Ukraine’s deadly biolabs…. ESPECIALLY those associated with Hunter Biden! Putin might have done the World a HUGE favor.

  10. @gropinjoethetraitor clearly, you get “the Moronic Response of the Year” award.
What biolabs? What do they have to do with Hunter Biden? Ukraine’s “biolabs” is Putin’s propaganda distributed by Russian trolls.
Only an idiot today can call dictator who is killing innocents a “favor”.

If you have no idea about what’s going in, for G-d’s sake, get informed. Otherwise, you look really stupid making comments.

  11. @Gennady

You take gropinjoethetraitor’s remarks literally, whereas they are intended to be satire. gropinjoe may not be as talented as Jonathan Swift was in “A Modest Proposal”, which I urge you to read if you do not know the work. It’s available on the Internet.

  12. @Vazir Mukhtar Thank you for your explanation. Satire, irony and sarcasm don’t come thru online. I took (or mistook) his comment at face value.

  13. Yea… @gary… Stop trying to be a reporter. You’re pathetic at it.. OH look, here’s a cool tweet. Let me get off my terrible at reporting soap box for aviation and try actual news.

  14. Investigation proves Hunter Biden FUNDED the illegal biolabs in Ukraine
Friday, March 25, 2022 by: Arsenio Toledo

An investigation into some of the deleted but retrievable emails on Hunter Biden’s laptop has found that the presidential family has a strong connection with the biological weapons research laboratories in Ukraine.

This investigation was led by Jack Maxey, former co-host of Steve Bannon’s “War Room.” Among the emails that he and his team discovered included “numerous national security violations … which are horrifying.” (Related: The Ben Armstrong Show: Biden’s interest in Russia-Ukraine conflict peppered with corruption and controversy.)

Maxey said he and his team found hundreds of thousands of deleted emails, photographs and other documents that were not permanently scrubbed from Hunter’s laptop. “There are another 110,000 to 130,000 emails that no one even knew about,” he said.

One of the things Maxey found is that Hunter and the rest of the presidential family have a connection with Metabiota, a biological research company involved with the Ukrainian biolabs.
“I have 100 percent – clear 100 percent – in writing evidence that Metabiota … [which] is inside Ukraine, working in those labs, is a DOD [Department of Defense] contractor, in writing,” said Maxey.

Further research by Maxey’s team has also found that Mykola Zlochevsky, the chairman of the Ukrainian corporation Burisma, may be one of the largest shareholders of Metabiota.
Previous investigations into the contents of Hunter’s laptop have found that the Biden family is heavily involved with Burisma, whose main interests lie in Ukraine’s oil and gas industry. Hunter himself sat on the board of Burisma and was paid $50,000 a month for several years. President Joe Biden himself, during his tenure as vice president, met with at least one high-level representative of Burisma.

Russia credibly accuses Hunter Biden of funding Ukraine biolabs

The Russian government has also accused Hunter Biden of helping the DOD fund the biolabs in Ukraine. This is according to Lt. Gen. Igor Kirillov, commander of the Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Protection Troops of the Russian Armed Forces, who pointed out that Hunter’s investment firm, Rosemont Seneca, has been caught financing the biological weapons research programs in Ukraine.

“Incoming materials have allowed us to trace the scheme of interaction between U.S. government bodies and Ukraine’s biolabs,” said Kirillov. He added that Russia has information proving that Rosemont Seneca has a “close relationship” with key suppliers for the Pentagon’s biolabs around the world, including in Ukraine. According to Russia’s Ministry of Defense, Rosemont Seneca has provided the DOD with a fund worth at least $2.4 billion.

The Defense Ministry has recently released even more information tying the Ukrainian biolabs to American corporations and the federal government. On Thursday, March 24, the ministry released a diagram titled “Coordination of Biological Laboratories and Scientific Research Centers of Ukraine and the United States.”

The diagram shows that the Pentagon has funded at least 31 laboratories that have allegedly conducted illegal biological weapons research in Ukraine. The Defense Ministry released pictures of what it claims is a Ukrainian document with a list of laboratories that have received U.S. funding for biological weapons research.

“The scale of the program is impressive,” said Kirillov. He added that, along with the Pentagon and Rosemont Seneca, other American entities with known connections to the Ukrainian biolabs include the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), the Open Society Foundations of Hungarian billionaire George Soros and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

  15. Hunter Biden’s investment firm partnered with Ukrainian researchers to “isolate deadly pathogens” using money from Obama’s defense department
Sunday, March 27, 2022 by: Ethan Huff

An investment firm headed up by fake “president” Joe Biden’s son Hunter was a leading financial backer of a plandemic tracking and response company that was identifying and isolating deadly pathogens at bioweapons laboratories in Ukraine. Hunter’s firm Rosemont Seneca Technology Partners (RSTP), a subsidiary of the Hunter Biden and Christopher Heinze-founded Rosemont Capital, received funding from Barack Hussein Obama through that regime’s Department of Defense (DoD), The National Pulse confirmed.
Both Hunter Biden and Christopher Heinz, the stepson of former U.S. Secretary of State and current Biden regime “climate czar” John Kerry, are managing directors at RSTP.
Among the many companies listed in archived versions of RSTP’s portfolio was Metabiota, a company that claims to detect, track and analyze emerging infectious diseases. Metabiota, as we reported, has been conducting biological experiments in Ukraine, Africa and elsewhere at the direction of the Pentagon.
RSTP’s first round of funding came in 2015 to the tune of $30 million. Former managing director and co-founder Neil Callahan, whose name appears numerous times on Hunter’s infamous laptop, sits on Metabiota’s Board of Directors alongside former Clinton official Rob Walker.
In July 2021, Metabiota, Hunter and his investment firm, and EcoHealth Alliance worked closely with Tony Fauci’s National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), as well as the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China where the Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) is believed to have emerged.
The Pulse revealed that not only has Hunter Biden been involved in plandemic financing and other operations, but also that much of it was done in Ukraine, where Pentagon-run biolabs litter the land.
These Ukrainian labs to which Hunter is connected handle “especially dangerous pathogens.” And the U.S. government is funding them with American taxpayer dollars, is the gist of it.
Has the Biden crime family syndicate been profiting from the creation and release of deadly bioweapons? Absolutely.
In 2016, U.S. military officials and their Ukrainian counterparts met to discuss “cooperation in surveillance and prevention of especially dangerous infectious diseases, including zoonotic diseases in Ukraine and neighboring countries.” This was several years before the Fauci Flu appeared.
At this meeting were representatives from the Biden-linked Metabiota biotech company, as well as agents from the DoD, Black & Veatch, and other Biden-linked groups and entities.
“The meeting focused on existing frameworks, regulatory coordination, and ongoing cooperative projects in research, surveillance and diagnostics of a number of dangerous zoonotic diseases, such as avian influenza, leptospirosis, Crimea Congo hemorrhagic fever, and brucellosis,” a summary of the meeting explains.
Various government contracts were forced to funnel cash into Metabiota and the Ukrainian biolabs, which used it for “research projects.” One such project involved isolating strains of deadly pathogens such as the “virulent African Swine Fever Virus.”
These labs also worked with anthrax, which was tampered and experimented with using dogs, much like how Fauci’s coronavirus research experiments were performed on beagles.
A paper about the anthrax project claims it was done “to better understand anthrax epizootiology in Ukraine,” where samples were collected from wild boar serum. These samples were then tested for antibodies to B. anthracis to assess whether the animals were associated with “livestock anthrax hotspots.”
A Ukrainian researcher named Artem Skrypnyk, affiliated with Metabiota, worked as the Veterinary Project Coordinator under Biden before moving on to work as the Technical Officer for Laboratories at the World Health Organization (WHO).
It turns out that Metabiota has an office in Kiev, which is among Vladimir Putin’s military targets.
“The revelation surrounding fake “President” Joe Biden’s son’s financial involvement with Ukrainian biological laboratories experimenting with pathogens, animals, and anthrax follows The National Pulse unearthing Metabiota’s ties to EcoHealth Alliance, a key entity in the origins of COVID-19 and cover-up efforts,” the Pulse reported.

  16. One must be a complete moron, or think everyone else is, to use Steve Bannon’s site, or Russian General’s claims, to “prove” Hunter Biden’s involvement into, or existence, or biolabs in Ukraine.

Personally, I’m a lot more likely to believe the AP (as in “Associated Press”):

Russia’s Bioweapon Conspiracy Theory Finds Support in US
Russia’s baseless claims about secret American biological warfare labs in Ukraine are taking root in the U.S. too.
    Associated Press
    Published 11 March 2022
    …..

  17. AP: “Russia’s baseless claims about secret American biological warfare labs in Ukraine are taking root in the U.S. too, uniting COVID-19 conspiracy theorists, QAnon adherents and some supporters of ex-President Donald Trump. Despite rebuttals from independent scientists, Ukrainian leaders and officials at the White House and Pentagon, the online popularity of the claims suggests some Americans are willing to trust Kremlin propaganda over the U.S. media and government. Like any effective conspiracy theory, the Russian claim…”

Gary, sorry – looks like your site has been infected by a moron who is a russian troll and qanon adherent, @gropinjoethetraitor

  18. Many reputable wonder if Ethan Huff even exists. He is quite the wackadoodle.
Gropinjoe’ give it a rest please.
This is not the Faux News website.
    This is atravelblog…..

  19. Just got back from the Bay Area and saw more Ukrainian flags than American flags. If that’s not a sign of the end of America, I’m not sure what is. The same people urging WW3 are the same people who want a civil war in US.

  20. @Jerry—weren’t those Ukrainian flags not simply a show of support for Ukraine?

@gropinjoethetraitor—dude, get back on you’re f*cking meds ASAP! You’re gonna be institutionalized soon. Steve Bannon—JFC
