News and notes from around the interweb:

- President Trump is criticizing a CNN report of mass sickouts at TSA. The union says it’s real and will grow, but of course it’s not organized. Now air traffic controllers are joining the sickout. (HT: Reid F.)

He didn’t complain to DOT. The virgin Alaska distinction was his own fantasy. I am now dumber for having clicked that link.
TSA & ATC doing an “unorganized” sickout? In reality, this is all about employees who are disgrunted because they are working (for their eventual paycheck) while most of their coworkers are getting time off (and will eventually get paid for doing no work). It’s just a jealousy thing. If they’re sick, fine, take sick leave. If they’re faking it, fire them. I am a fed worker, and am sick of hearing how fed workers are the victims. Be a grown-up and either follow the directions your employer gave you, or quit… but stop playing the victim role or lying about being sick.
