Airport Weddings? Las Vegas Pop-Up Marriage Bureau Lets You Say ‘I Do’ As Soon As You Arrive

Las Vegas airport is opening a pop up Marriage License Bureau with the County Clerk’s office from February 11 – 25, highlighting Vegas a wedding destination – and a spontaneous, wedding-on-arrival destination. They also have a 2024 Wedding Dress Design of the Year on display above baggage claim, adjacent to aviation museum on the second floor terminal 1, highlighting the winning design from a local contest.

Clark County issued its 5-millionth marriage license in 2022 two days before twosday, 2-22-22, and hosted weddings for 2,341 couples that day – just over a week past Valentine’s Day, which is one of the most popular dates each year for weddings.

  • Pop-up Marriage License Bureau is at Terminal 1 baggage claim
  • Hours are 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. daily from February 11 – February 25

If your flight arrives outside of these hours, the city’s Marriage License Bureau operates 8 a.m. to midnight, 365 days a year. The pop up, though, also offers vow renewal certificates. However payment is taken via credit and debit card only – no casino chips or crypto. There’s also an official limited-edition keepsake with the Las Vegas skyline or Valentine conversation hearts created by the Clerk’s office.

Of course, if there’s a line, you can always gamble while you wait.
