And it appears to come with improved award availability, though of course availability has been sparse lately and continued generosity with space isn’t guaranteed to last.
Meanwhile it appears that Air France first class awards have been devalued by a lot but you need to be a Flying Blue Platinum to have access to those in any case.

Ryanair has provided a detailed breakdown of the costs it wants to claw back from an unruly passenger who it claims forced the pilots of a Dublin to Lanzarote flight last April to divert to Portugal because his behavior was so bad.
…Ryanair shelled out €7,000 for hotel accommodation for all 160 passengers and six crew members. The airline also had to pay €1,800 for a replacement crew, €2,500 in airport landing and handling fees, €800 in excess fuel payments and €2,500 in legal costs. In addition, Ryanair is also suing the unruly passenger for €750 in lost inflight sales, like food, drink and Duty Free. The total bill comes to €15,350.

Three cheers for Ryan Air filing a lawsuit against a pax who disrupted a flight. If more of the bad guys were punished properly, there would be fewer bad guys … and we’d all benefit.
If I heard it correctly, as he is getting dragged out, the guy is being told “You cannot spit at people.” If that’s true, then haul is a** off the plane.
Should be fairly easy for the airline to confirm that one — one way or the other….
As usual, liberals run their mouths before knowing the whole story and the facts –
I am on team “If you’re being forcefully removed from an airplane you deseve it”, 100 percent of the time, because it means someone asked you to leave and you didn’t.
There are plenty of places where you have the right to be where you are and it may be more important to resist removal than comply with a request to leave, but airplanes are never one of them.
So maybe you don’t deserve to be asked to leave flight, and if so you can deal with that off the plane, but if you are asked to leave and you don’t, you signed up for whatever comes next.
That includes Dao. Sometimes when you choose to fight you’re going to get hurt.
If the plane was on the ground when she did that, fine. If it was in the air it was incredibly stupid. Turbulence can happen anytime without warning.
