On April 3 American Airlines will start rolling out complimentary made-to-order Avocado Toast in the mornings in Admirals Clubs. This is in addition to the popular afternoon made to order guacamole that’s available in many of their clubs.

Made to order guacamole, American Airlines Dallas Fort-Worth

Like afternoon guacamole, this isn’t available in all clubs, for instance they don’t do it in Austin. The first clubs to get this will be in Charlotte, Washington National, Dallas Fort-Worth, Phoenix, and Philadelphia and will be available from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.

It will be customizable with toppings such as prosciutto, tomatoes, and smoked salmon.

American Airlines Admirals Clubs are available to members and to those with day passes as well as American’s mid-tier elites flying internationally same day plus oneworld mid-tier elites flying a oneworld carrier domestically or internationally.

I value my membership mostly for help from agents inside the club when things go wrong, but improved food offerings are a nice plus.

  1. wonder if there was a bumper crop of avocados this year that drove down the price.
lucky club members get healthy snacks morning and daytime.

  2. No sorry the Avocado is already frozen and pasted onto the toast all their chefs do is microwave it ;):)

  3. This has been offered at LAX for a while.

It amazes me that US Airways actually continues to invest and improve their lounges, while absolutely destroying the rest of the airline.

  4. I’m starting to think instead of investing in an oil refinery like Delta that AA management bought an avocado farm.

  5. Finally, the Admiral’s Club Membership is worth it. You’ll make your money back if you have avocado toast 30 times with at $15 valuation for each slice of avocado toast.

  6. Smashed Avocado and Fetta on toast (preferably sourdough and best with a poached egg) is now the modern national breakfast dish in Australia

Serve with an (espresso) Flat White. Yum
