American AAdvantage Splits Up the Middle East and Indian Subcontinent Award Regions

On Friday American made a change to their oneworld and other partner award chart. They split up two regions that used to be a single region on the web page.

The “Middle East / Indian Subcontinent” region has now become two separate regions: “Middle East” and “Indian Subcontinent” There has been no change to award pricing, however.

$33 Transatlantic Fare, Limited Dates in June

Meridian Air has $33 one-way fares between Havana and Frankfurt, Hamburg, and Berlin in June. Only very limited limited dates are available, and it’s not even an error.

Sadly very few Cubans have the ability to leave the country, and relatively few have access to the (state censored) internet to learn of the deal.
