Bank Of America Credit Cards Earn Two Extra Points Per Dollar On Thursday

Bank of America is offering 2 extra points or an additional 2% cash back across its card portfolio. They’re calling Thursday, November 7th “More Rewards Day.”

That includes airline cards like Alaska and Air France KLM, Spirit and Allegiant; Travel Rewards and Merrill+; and the cruise cards. Small business cards are eligible, too, and no registration is required.

This applies to purchases made on November 7 based on Eastern time, and it’s limited to the first $2,500 in purchases. Cards eligible for a Preferred Rewards bonus do not get that bonus stacked onto these additional 2 points per dollar.

  1. Note that the $2.500 limit is per card. If you have multiple cards from BofA than to get the bonus you just have to spread your charging across them.

  2. Thanks for the heads up. You would think that BofA would actually notify their customers themselves, but I didn’t receive an email on any of my cards. Just a promotion for points and miles enthusiasts who read travel websites apparently.

Now what can I buy for $650 in the Alaska Airlines shopping portal? $650 x 3 miles + 1,500 mile bonus (on $650 spend) + whatever multiple of miles a particular vendor offers.

  3. I have a costco order and a sams club order that Im about to purchase, I guess I can hold off for 1 more day.

    Thanks gary.

  4. Paying estimated taxes at approx 2% convenience fee seems a good way to make use of this if no other way
