Breaking: Plane Crash, Pakistan International Airlines Airbus A320 From Lahore To Karachi

Pakistan International Airlines flight PK8303 from Lahore to Karachi crashed in a residential area today. The ex-China Eastern Airbus A320 (AP-BLD) had a disputed number of people on board, either 90 or 100 passengers and 7 crew.

The cockpit crew had aborted the flight’s approach to the Karachi airport with landing gear issues, performed a go around, but then declared a Mayday reporting that they had lost both of the plane’s engines.

The aircraft crashed while on final approach, and went into flames with homes set on fire as well. There is no confirmation yet of survivors. National carrier PIA had resumed limited flights on May 16.
