Maybe you weren’t satisfied with the Mueller report and want to conduct your own on-the-ground investigation. Or you’ve always wanted to trace your family’s roots back to the Tsar. Either way this is one of the best sale fares I’ve seen to Russia.

  1. ” Or you’ve always wanted to trace your family’s roots back to the Tsar.”

    Bring red stain remover.

  2. Don’t you need a VISA to get into Russia, though? And isn’t that process ridiculously difficult….?

  3. The process of obtaining a Russian visa is extremely difficult and risky. A relative applied for a visa 4 months before the trip and only got it 2 days before flight. The visa processing centers don’t reply or pick up phone calls. Any little mistake or imperfection on the application requires them to scrap the entire thing and you have to start over. After 2 months of denials, my relative used an agency and it still took 2 months of back and forth. It was extremely expensive.

  4. Sometimes we see winter deals but this is a fantastic summer fare and on SWISS, no less. If you buy it start working on your visa now as it is not a quick process. And if you plan to go in December I would stock up on heavy clothing from LL Bean.

  5. On an A330?? When will they upgrade that fleet….them, TAP, Air Lingus, etc. Even Iberia is flying an A350……
