Alaska Airlines is selling miles with a 100% bonus through November 15th.
- That means buying miles at 1.27 cents apiece
- And Hawaiian Airlines miles transfer into your Alaska account
- Alaska’s best offer is generally 1.86 cents with a 60% bonus
- And Alaska miles are frequently considered to be worth more than 1.27 cents
*Bonus Miles will be rewarded on transactions of 3,000 miles or more made between 11/1/2024 and 11/15/2024, 11:59PM HST, and will be credited to the recipient’s account when the transaction is complete.
I consider this to be an opportunity, though given my current Alaska miles balance (thanks to Hawaiian Airlines credit cards and mileage pooling) I probably won’t be all-in for this.
While there’s a maximum of 100,000 purchased miles per transaction, there is no annual limit on the number of miles that can be purchased.
There are some real values in the Alaska Airlines award chart especially redeeming miles on their partners across oneworld and unaffiliated carriers.

Alaska is the best domestic airline. If it were a law firm, it’d be Wachtell.
There is real value in taking the LSAT and going to law school. Even if you can’t get an offer from Wachtell, there are firms way down the ladder of prestige that still have over $1MM profit per equity partner. Every lawyer with a modicum of ambition is doing well for themselves.
