A passenger on a January 15th United Airlines flight from New York LaGuardia to Chicago O’Hare took to social media to decry a flight attendant “dressed as part of a terrorist group.” The attire is not that of a terrorist group as such, and the passenger is being called out as racist.
As the flight prepared for departure, EUclaim had bailiffs seize the aircraft’s fuel supplies. Navigation maps were also confiscated. The plane was grounded for approximately 90 minutes, before the airline settled the outstanding debt.
Former Flydubai pilot William Gonzales Bodden Jr. has been convicted of bigamy after it was discovered that he maintained marriages with two women in different countries at the same time. Bodden is now flying for Breeze Airways.
During meal service, the aircraft experienced three rapid drops in altitude, each descending by approximately 150 to 175 feet.
Turbulence during the drops resulted in unsecured items such as meal trays and personal belongings being dislodged. Passengers can be seen in video from inside the aircraft gripping their seats in fear as debris scattered across the floor, with some overhead bins visibly damaged.

Lufthansa is putting the superjumbo Airbus A380 onto the Denver – Munich route April 30 through September 30th. The plane will also operate from Munich to New York, Boston, Washington, Los Angeles and Delhi.
That’s a lot of airplane with a lot of seats to fill, and award space especially on the Denver route is wide open using miles from partner frequent flyer programs.
Airlines may give you a free room when you’re faced with a controllable overnight delay. But you get what you pay for – you probably don’t want to sleep in the room they’re going to give you.
