Emirates Flight Delayed 6 Hours Because Delta Wouldn’t Sell Them a $300 Part

Emirates says their flight EK228 from Seattle to Dubai on February 2 went mechanical and they were “unable to obtain a $300 spare part from Delta.” In fact, the part was first installed but Emirates says Delta ordered it removed for spite.
