News and notes from around the interweb:
- Chris Farley once started a food fight with Cinnabons at Chicago O’Hare and got kicked out of the airport
“He started a Cinnabon fight in the Chicago O’Hare Airport,” [Jim] Farley recalled. “We were trying to get back to Chicago for my grandmother’s funeral. He bought all of the Cinnabons out of the restaurant in O’Hare Airport and then gave them to people and we started a huge food fight.”
…”We got kicked out of O’Hare by the police and we missed our connecting flight and we missed our grandmother’s funeral,” said Jim. “We had a great time, but nobody in Madison understood why we had missed her funeral. So we just owned it. We were like, yeah ‘Well we started a food fight at O’Hare and we got into trouble!’ “
- Denver remains a disaster.
“Just another morning in DEN. This is the line for Clear. It wraps through four lanes of stanchions before extending almost halfway down the terminal.
The new TSA checkpoint has done nothing to reduce lines.” pic.twitter.com/441jIzAsIB

- NSFW language, but funny to some.
The Hyatt thing—is it just other nearby AIs, or is it any property? If I am staying at Ziva Los Cabos could I go eat at The Cape (or PH when it opens)?
Clear tried to solicit my wife and I today at DCA. While we were waiting in the short PreCheck line she told me that she had just read that Clear is not in any way affiliated with the government and therefore is not subject to even the limited scrutiny that you’d expect from a private company. My Global Entry interview was annoying to get to but it did show some actual governmental interest in security.
