Dr. Oz Rescues Passenger On JetBlue Flight To Mexico

Dr. Oz jumped into action on a JetBlue flight from New York JFK to Los Cabos responding to a passenger’s medical emergency on Friday.

He was enroute to a wedding, and flight attendants called for anyone with medical training to assist.

“A middle-aged healthy man lost consciousness, and we performed a routine triage with a physical exam and checked his vital signs. After administering oxygen, giving him orange juice, and allowing some time to pass, he recovered. He will need a thorough evaluation by his local physician,” Dr. Oz stated.

Dr. Oz had the passenger drink some juice, as low blood sugar can cause sudden fainting, and emphasized that “oxygen is the best drug we ever use.”

The passenger is doing better, the flight did not have to divert, and Dr. Oz gave the man his cell phone number for medical follow up if needed.

Three years ago Dr. Oz saved a man’s life at Newark airport baggage claim. He may not have been a great Senate candidate, taking folks along as he shopped for crudite ingredients, and he didn’t deserve to be slammed for traveling in the opulence of American Airlines domestic first class, but I think I want him on my flight whenever I travel.

  1. Does seem like the patient needed saving- which is a good thing. Oz hasn’t actively practiced for many years

  2. Fetterman is the rare Democrat who has supported Israel 1000% since 07/10. I am glad he is fully recovered from his stroke and we have him in the Senate and not Dr. Oz.
