- Flight attendants say they water down passenger drinks of course they don’t make my drinks flying domestically, I usually just get a can and a minibottle. And if I’m drinking whiskey straight I’d certainly know if water were added.
darin - I’m looking forward to higher wages at New York airports. One mistake people make is assuming that raising the minimum wage at an airport gives more money to existing airport employees. It also makes airport jobs more attractive to people who don’t work at airports. New York airports could use better employees, from a purely selfish perspective, even if their employers wouldn’t have chosen to pay for it.
- Delta executive expected to be nominated to run the FAA (WSJ) Some may look askance at a Delta Senior Vice President going on to regulate Delta.
- As Sun Country guts the quality of its product they’re rolling out a new credit card and gutting the quality of its frequent flyer program too. Account activity will no longer keep miles from expiring.
- An airline agent confronted with a passenger banned from flying to tricked the system into ignoring the Do Not Board message. Naturally the person wasn’t allowed into their destination country, and the airline was fined.
- United now wants to add a Newark – Shanghai flight. So much for American’s request to leave retain dormant route authority to China?
The most shocking thing in the flight attendant survey was that almost half said they had removed at least one passenger from a flight. And 4% said they had sex (passenger or crew) in flight.
