  1. The airlines and those who work for them are the lowest rank of life forms. Steal our taxpayers’ money, give us covid constantly telling us that you’re dubious studies show no risk, sing in our faces to increase covid risk when the mask mandate is invalidated by a clueless kid from Florida. Give me a break.

  2. I am so beaten down by the politicians and bureaucrats that it’s hard to believe that the mask nightmare is finally over. I’m sure the testing people will keep the pressure on for that requirement; they have an investment to protect. Four flights in two years, two of them made miserable by brain-dead flight attendants not happy with how the mask was worn and insisting that it be up to my eyeballs … it’s hard to look forward to next week’s flights with true joy. One horrible thing with the masks is the ‘zombie-like’ quality of interactions at the airport and on the plane. I didn’t realize how depressing it was to try to communicate with someone wearing a mask. I think I’ll wait for 30 days before celebrating the end of the dumbest mess that could have ever been created by preying on the fears of stupid people. Perhaps by then the whiners will shut up about how dangerous it is for people with immune issues to fly. They might finally understand that those people should not be flying, nor should they appear anywhere that might be crowded. People need to take responsibility for themselves.

  3. A judge deemed clearly unqualified by her peers, with barely any legal experience, uses a clearly ridiculous theory to strike down a mask mandate . . . this country is on a fast path to destruction when an criminal ex-president can put minions in place with power to override with no basis in fact or law – just a bald exercise of power – policies put in place by experts tasked with coming up with policies to keep us safe. The misguided – to use their word – “sheep” who blindly follow Trump may be cheering – but we’ll see the consequences of this soon. Ukraine is a direct result of what Trump did during his administration – many more things will come back to haunt us due to this country now having completely broken down. We’ve got the tools to fix it but we still allow evil people like Trump to find ways to exert control and frustrate the ability of the current government to fix it. Everything they do that would help gets struck down by his followers solely for the purpose of destroying us so they can blame Biden. Time for Biden to tell the courts until they start playing by the rules – we’re not abiding.

  4. That is what freedom looks like. Never forget, we are free people and government should work for us, not us working for government.

  5. I’m surprised Alaska Airlines followed suit pretty quickly, especially after their annoying ad a year ago where was celebrating the wearing of masks. Can search for “Alaska Airlines Safety Dance” on youtube to see what I mean 🙂

  6. @David – the judge’s bona fides notwithstanding the legal theory was endorsed by the Supreme Court tin Alabama Association of Realtors vs HHS last August. This was no surprise, I wrote about the exact problem in CDC’s authority for the mask mandate shortly after it was imposed. Congress could and should have legislated it, making CDC authority clear.

  7. WHAT? You mean FA’s aren’t all terrified of maskless passengers? Isn’t that what the media has been touting the past several months? I’m shocked, SHOCKED I tell you!

  8. Normally hearing children whine and throw tantrums loses its charm pretty quickly, but I have to admit I enjoy hearing the squeals from @Tim j, @David, and other butthurt mask nazis as they try to cope with freedom.

Next flight at end of week. I. Can’t. Wait.

    #butmuhmask…

  9. @ huey Judy – Mental illness (that seems to afflict you) is probably immune to COVID. But many who are immunocompromised and have to travel to get their medical treatment, unfortunately, can’t stay away from wads of virus you might be emanating every time you exhaled. Personal accountability, if you had a cold or barked like my neighbor’s bulldog, is probably a laughing matter in your book. Personal accountability, in your dictionary, is probably equivalent to getting others sick and sicker. Compassion is probably not in your dictionary either. Like seat belts and speed limit violators, the law needs to give us mask proponents, powers to force masks on folks like you who might cough and sneeze and not care for people who are vulnerable. A word of advice – stay away from planes.

  10. I’m old enough to remember when conservatives would complain about “judges legislating from the bench.”

  11. @John – the conservative judicial construction would be to read statutes narrowly, which is what this judge did, for what it’s worth

  12. @David Ukraine is the result of a cia In 2014 caused by a democrat president who was elected because of his race.

The judge in Florida was supported by the federalist society. The premiere organization in judicial circles

  13. @John

Age was following the constitution. There was never any mask legislation just more fascism from the fascist Democrats. Who stole the election.

  14. This pandemic was under control when Trump was in office, he even gave us the vaccines.

Much like the economy everything went to hell when the Democrats stole the election.

  15. To be honest, wearing a mask is way less painful than the back and forth bickering from those on both ends of the political spectrum. The silent majority, those of us in the middle that can’t stand either political party, just shrug our shoulders and move on. At least we no longer have to watch grown adults act like entitled 5 year olds on an airplane when they get scolded for not following the simplest of rules.

  16. While I am delighted that the mask mandate is finally eliminated, personally I will wear a N95 mask if I have a respiratory illness and must fly. To force everyone to wear a mask regardless of the state of their health or vaccination status was nothing more than political theater . Cloth masks were never effective.

Testing prior to coming home without regard to vaccination status while the Biden administration allows thousands of migrants to cross the border everyday without testing or vaccination is absolutely insane. Biden is not the only demented one in his administration.

Can’t wait for the November bloodletting!

  17. @Koggerj

If you truly believe the election was stolen, than you’re a coward–and no patriot–if you refuse to act. Fact is, you likely DON’T really believe it, so just shut up.

  18. Covid is and was a joke
    Covid did happen, does exist
but was so blown out of proportion it became a joke

so glad to see this bullshit mask crap gone

I will not be wearing a mask anywhere unless it is a private business who wants me to wear one and I want/need their service/product

otherwise, I don’t wear one, don’t carry one, and have one finger to give the mask mandates

for you puppets on the left.. too bad for you

  19. @Rufusw9
Yeah, more than 960,00 dead Americans and counting is a joke. Something a ” Chump Fool” would say. Entitled much?
