Giving Away 75,000 Hyatt Points to Celebrate Hyatt-MGM in Las Vegas

Here’s the scoop:

  • The Hyatt Gold Passport – MGM M Life partnership is the richest in Las Vegas. It lets you earn and redeem points across both programs, and get status recognition too.
  • You can get Hyatt Platinum status just for having the Hyatt Visa. And Hyatt Platinum gets you Gold status and recognition at 12 resorts in Las Vegas – upgrades, priority checkin, buffet line passes, VIP night club access.
  • Hyatt Diamonds get even more (I love skipping the taxi queue).
  • There’s a new website for this relationship that features free room, points, and experience giveaways.

I’m giving away 75,000 Hyatt Gold Passport points to a reader drawn at random from those leaving comments on this blog post, continue reading to learn more.

Last year Hyatt introduced a partnership with MGM M Life that was really revolutionary in the hotel industry.

Hyatt Gold Passport and MGM M Life offered both reciprocal points earning and redemption, and also elite status recognition, in what amounted to a hotel alliance (akin to the major airline alliances).

The fountains in front of the Bellagio

Las Vegas was a clear gap area for major chain hotels. IHG had Venetian, Starwood a Westin, Hilton an off-strip property. Starwood subsequently introduced their own partnership with Caesars but it was less extensive, not earning status nights or receiving status recognition across the chains.

In one swoop Hyatt Gold Passport had the best presence in Las Vegas, and MGM had its own global footprint for M Life members as well.

They’ve just launched a digital hub that will help travelers explore Vegas and make the most of the Hyatt Gold Passport and MGM M life relationship.

There’s daily content and regular giveaway opportunities like free nights at M life resorts, Hyatt Gold Passport points, and show tickets.

And to encourage you to check it out, Hyatt has offered to let me give away 75,000 Gold Passport points to readers.

  • Go to the new Hyatt-MGM Las Vegas digital hub
  • Just leave a comment on this blog post to enter to win.
  • Your comment should be what feature on the site you’re most interested in for Las Vegas.
  • This opportunity will remain open through Saturday, July 19 at noon Eastern.
  • You can enter up to 4 times. (The contest is open for four days, although your maximum of 4 entries can be right in a row or spread out however you wish.)
  • One winner will be drawn at random by me. All judgments and rulings of mine are final and unappealable. And you agree to that by entering. I’ll reach out to the winner by email for name and Gold Passport number in order to get the points posted.

So… who wants 75,000 Hyatt Gold Passport points? That’s enough for 3 nights at even the most expensive M Life resort in Las Vegas (or a whole lot of nights somewhere else).

Just share what Vegas experience interests you most on the new the new Hyatt-MGM Las Vegas digital hub in the comments.

  79. Activities section. I spend so much time at tables and shows that I never knew I could swim with Dolphins until just now.

  80. But on the other hand, the shopping article might be the death of my wallet if the SO saw it. So… some bad with the good? 😛

  81. i learned more and want to know more (aka be there) for the lounge parties by the pool. pure fun!

  82. Food and Drink. I always forget theres more than just buffets (and sandwiches brought to the poker table)

  100. Culinary Classroom @ the Bellagio. I knew there was a test kitchen there but didn’t know they had cooking classes.

  110. Definitely interested in Top 10 Things to do, preferably some off the beaten path stuff in Vegas

  111. Whiskey on a whim looks pretty interesting. I’d like to check out whiskey in a jar at the MGM

  112. Also, the Hotel 32 in Monte Carlo sounds interesting..didn’t know that it existed even though I stay at Monte Carlo pretty often.

  113. The pools!
The private pool cabana at Aria’s Liquid looks like it would make a perfect warm weather retreat during a quick winter weekend trip.

  114. I really liked the Jabbawockeez pics on the site. I actually plan to visit one of HGP/Mlife properties in Vegas at the end of the year and hopefully catch a show.

Great giveaway, and very good looking website.

  115. Never knew about the Red Square Happy hour; going to try that the next time I am there.

  116. I thoroughly enjoyed my status match and points earnings on all spend at Bellagio recently!

  117. Looking forward to redeeming Hyatt points in Vegas… love the details on opportunities.

  118. MGM / Hyatt partnership is my favourite way to keep status – cheap rates in the summer = lots of stay credits

  119. i have always wanted to swim with dolphins. I’ll skip the swimming with sharks one though!

  120. The entertainment section is very interesting to me, since I like to enjoy a lot of the shows Vegas has to offer.

  121. The surprisingly random things section is nice to check, especially for someone like me who goes to Veges frequently… need to expand horizons some times.

  122. Nice to brush up on the section with M life/ Hyatt relationship, just to jog the memory for what it offers.

  123. The feature that I’m most interested in is “Top 10 Surprising(ly Random) Things To Do in Vegas”

  124. I enjoyed the Hidden Vegas Gems section, since I’m always looking to be a know it all when it comes to things in Las Vegas.

  125. Thanks for the giveaway.

The photos are the winner here. Pictures says a thousand of words.

Those photos indeed says alot and making me tell myself i have to go to Vegas soon again.

  126. I like how little the site is focused on gaming and more on the travel experience.

  127. Can wait to enjoy the food and enjoy some time with the family away from all the hustle and bustle

  128. The Michael Jackson One Show. Saw it last year and it was great at the Mandalay Bay hotel.

  129. KA at the MGM. Great show I saw 2 years ago. I realize I spend more time in Vegas than I thought.

  130. i never win anything EVER! but if i did, i would go to MGM Grand’s Hakkasan and party with calvin harris.

  131. Just got back from 2 days at the Aria. Enjoyed a great upgrade as Platinum MLife member due Diamond Hyatt status

  132. The 10 surprisingly random things to do in Vegas list is intriguing to me…I might try several of those things!

  133. The shows, being able to experience a new hotel that I have never been to before!

  134. Staying at an amazing new Hyatt Property!!! Thanks VFW for the awesome opportunity!

  135. The Master Sommeliers class sounds intriguing. Not had that type of opportunity before.

  136. I’m a foodie so I like to see the best dining options, especially ones that don’t break the bank.

  137. I’m interested in learning how to maximize my life and Hyatt status for special perks in Vegas. I also love the best pools article.

  138. Gary, as usual – thank you for your generosity.
Las Vegas sounds great just as a food choice destination, even though I realize that one would have to do something in between meals !

  139. Have been diving with sharks before (without the metal suits), so think I will pass on that. But will take the water (pools) anytime – ESPECIALLY in the summer.

  140. Shine Alternative Fitness – anti-gravity yoga (maybe I’d be better at that kind)

  141. Love the food sections. Agree with earlier comment that the site design is too busy.

  142. That steak is making my mouth water, so I’ll definitely be hitting up the restaurants.

  143. Interested in and read the post on Whiskey drinks… would love to try some of those

  144. I’m interested in the post about random things to do in Vegas since I’ve already done a lot there

  145. The column on the right lists the most-read stories giving you a starting point to read on.

  146. The site is very visually attractive, but there is no info on the Cirque du Soleil shows. Not even a link. Kinda of weird, because MGM has an exclusive contract with Cirque du Soleil, for Las Vegas.

  147. The entire wellness section on the site! Those pics posted via “instavegas” seems so inviting.

  148. I’ll be uncovering a little “Hidden Las Vegas” with tea at the Mandarin Oriental.

  149. I think the site is fairly well designed. I’ve never been to Vegas but will consider using it as a tool to help me decide where to eat/stay!

  150. I wonder if getting behind the wheel for NASCAR experience is cool or gimmicky.

  151. Definitely the food section. Can’t get enough of those delicious buffets!

  152. Ziplining in Vegas can’t be as good as ziplining in Costa Rica… But I’d give it a shot.

  153. Make Vegas Yours? I thought it was already mine! I have been venturing to Vegas for decades and this activities tab is full of things that I have kept a secret for years! There area also so many things in this section that I didn’t know about!

  154. I know this MakeVegasYours is promoting MLife properties and Hyatt. However, it really reads like a fun magazine about Vegas.

  155. This MakeVegasYours site is totally fun, just like Vegas. I love that everything is current. I love that twitter feeds are integrated into the visually appealing layout of the site.

  156. More choice is always good and when that choice doesn’t take anything away at the same time then it’s extra special! 🙂

  157. The Make Vegas Yours is a very cool site. I really liked the 10 Surprisingly Cool Things to do. I’ve been to Vegas many times, but the art hike was new and unique. We will definitely do this next time we’re in town!

  158. I really liked the feature on Hidden Gems. We will stay at the Villas next time we’re in Vegas!

  159. I really loved the Best Pools in Vegas section. It gave you a great idea of where to go for what vibe. Exactly what we need the next time we’re in Vegas!

  160. I found the Las Vegas Fun Facts and Stats page interesting…

(but I agree that this website is…too busy!)

  161. I like how the most viewed section culls most of the better options to the top.

  162. Great that you can actually swim with sharks Mandalay Bay’s Shark Reef Aquarium. That’s a pretty random thing to do!

  163. I like the most viewed because feature because I believe on the wisdom of the crowd

  164. I like the most viewed because feature because I believe on the wisdom of the crowd.

  165. I’ve been to Vegas a handful of times and didn’t know about the hidden gems so that was interesting. I’ll make sure to check out a few next time I visit.

  166. I’ve always been fascinated by the Bellagio fountain. Cheesy, but known the world over for a reason (kind of interesting that “Pearl members” can select songs for it).

  167. “SWIM WITH SHARKS” from the Surprising(ly Random) Things To Do in Vegas list, haha

  168. The “Las Vegas – upgrades, priority checkin, buffet line passes, VIP night club access.” is a GREAT benefit by itself.

  169. It’s amazing how Vegas has so many top restaurants in such proximity. So the restaurant recommendations and features are great!

  170. Cool Site – I like the food and dining section – gives great recommendations on fun places to check out (like cocktail recommendations). Same goes for 10 random activities section – will help make a Vegas trip more interesting than standard repeat of typical activities.

  171. My favorite potential-feature on the website was the entertainment section, accessible by clicking on the toolbar docked vertically on the lefthand side. The options shown when clicking the “Entertainment” button were comparatively most appealing. However, I think they probably covered only 10% of the true entertainment options available to Hyatt guests! There’s definitely room for improvement in advertising the entertainment options available to Hyatt guests.

  172. Swimming with dolphins at the Mirage is one thing I’ve always wanted to do, but never made the time, unfortunately–and I have no excuse, as I live in Florida. Maybe I have to go on vacation elsewhere and be a tourist to try these fun activities.

  173. The most visually appealing portion of the website was the Bellagio fountains (of course). (featured in “By the Numbers: Las Vegas Fun Facts & Stats)

A close second is the photo of the chandeliers of Mandalay Bay miX.

The other photos could’ve been more appealing. For example, the photo advertising scrumptious steak showed only an empty restaurant. What? If nothing else, show the scrumptious steak!

(All the above-mentioned photos are accessible by clicking the website’s Home tab.

  174. I stayed at the Bellagio last year right after the relationship between hyatt and MGM began. The reservation/upgrade/status process was confusing for the hotel and customers at that time. I am hopeful that the new site will make this much clearer now.

  175. The 35 mph zip-line “ride” 1700 feet above ground on the SlotZilla is not something I would personally be bvrave enough to attempt, but I sure would like to watch someone else do it!

  176. Vegas is all about the best partying, and in that Vegas heat the pool parties are the best option! Best Pools in Vegas: Coolest Lounges to Hottest Parties is a great addition!

  177. I am interested in “The Many Shades of Night Life”. My wife and I visited MGM hotel earlier this year and the Hyatt status and points were great to get for out stay.

  178. I absolutely love the pictures of the hotels at night. They are so breath taking. I have the say that the Bellagio is probably my favorite. I have stayed in rooms that are larger but the view from my room at the Bellagio was the most beautiful and romantic.

  179. I like the Top 10 random things to do in Vegas. I have been to Vegas many, many times but I always find something new to do and I always want to go back.

  180. Some of the article titles didn’t draw my interest, but one that I clicked on immediately was called “Best Pools in Vegas: Coolest Lounges to Hottest Parties”.

Although not much of a party animal myself, I’m always a sucker to see the newest-and-greatest swimming pools.

    1. Aria got the top billing, but looked somewhat dull (although refined).
    2. MGM’s aerial view of their lazy river: winner! (Hint: a lazy river always wins.)
    3. Bikini Ball at Mandalay Bay: makes me wonder if any of the people in the photo work for a living.
    4. Bellagio’s VIP pool: looks as boring as Aria, but am curious about the “chilled towels”.
    5. Mirage’s European Escape — the key word here is “topless”. And I am a straight female, so no sexual bias in my comment. The pool appears to be miniature, but I like it’s attitude.

Based on the article, which pool would I choose? Mirage’s. Would I go topless? Maybe only after staying there a few weeks. I’m not that bold. But like I said, ya gotta respect the attitude.

  181. The search feature had some difficulties. When I first clicked on it, nothing happened. After the 3rd or 4th click, and black searchbox appeared. I typed in buffet, but the page that loaded was blank. I tried a few more times, but still just a blank website. Perhaps Hyatt has no buffets? I guess I’ll never know (from this site).

  182. As a lover of fun facts I love that now I know that 2,400 pounds of confetti is launched each year in the nightclub. I am definitely using that as a pick up line next time.

  183. I did not know all the random fun things one can do in Vegas. Like swim with sharks.

  184. Website arrangement: The column of buttons on the lefthand was great use of landscape-screen real-estate. So much functionality, tucked away nicely on the left side. Yet, most of us “surfers” don’t focus much attention on the left side. I myself had perused the website several minutes before ever noticing all those left-side buttons.

And truthfully, had I not been inspired by Gary to give the website a lookover, I probably wouldn’t have EVER seen that leftside toolbar.

SUMMATION: If you want viewers to click buttons, put them across the TOP.

  185. Was just in Vegas for 4 nights at a Comped Suite at Bellagio. DID a Hyatt Mattress run at Luxor and Excallibur while I was there.
Make Vegas Yours site is awesome.
Favorite thing right now is “Top 10 Surprising(ly Random) Things To Do in Vegas.”
I really want this one – good luck me!

  186. I would LOVE to spend some time at the “secret” locations I had no clue about!!!

  187. And although I’m not a fan of stock car racing, I am still a car guy and would love to get behind the wheel of one of those bad boys at Las Vegas Motor Speedway with the Richard Petty Driving Experience.

  188. MGM’s Palatial Pool looks fun b/c let’s just admit it now – I use my kids as an excuse to go on water slides and lazy rivers.

  189. As I enjoy a nice stiff drink, I enjoyed the “Whiskey on A Whim” article about the different cocktails to try in Vegas.

  190. The 10 random things to do in vegas was interesting … didn’t know you could go swimming with sharks there

  191. After clicking many different buttons & photos on the website, I must say this isn’t a website I’d linger on, if I happened upon it accidentally. It leaves me asking “What’s your point?”

I get the feeling these photos were assembled by a kid rather than a marketing team.

In no way do I mean to be insulting to anyone involved. I gave it a great effort, but unfortunately I didn’t understand the point of the website. It was like reading a paragraph without the main sentence. I certainly didn’t feel inclined to stay at Hyatt after viewing all the photos & buttons. If anything, I’m left reminiscing about things not shown. Pining away for Fremont Street, the neon, the character impersonators, the shrimp-bar strippers, the zipline, the buffets(!), the street concerts, THE CONVENIENCE. I’m confused about the intent of MakeVegasYours.com website.

  192. The photo of Mandalay Bay’s “Fatty Melt” sandwich might make me change my mind…

It did prompt me to click the “Activites” button.

  193. Can’t wait to finish the Hyatt Diamond Challenge and enjoying swimming with sharks! (Under top 10 surprisingly random things to do in Las Vegas)

  194. I love the “Hidden Vegas Gems” feature they have. Great way to discover and is something thats actually quite useful for those that have never been!

  195. Whiskey on a Whim would be fun to try. Since you canpretty much walk all over Vegas you can feel free to have a cocktail (or two!)

  196. The hidden gems aren’t representative of what I thought would be “off strip” restaurants, shops, etc. known to locals like Lotus of Siam. Best pools I suppose are chill.

  197. I’ve always wanted to swim with dolphins. Who knew you could do that in Vegas?

  198. “Top 10 Suprising(ly random)Things to Do in Vegas”

I bypassed this article for 1/2-hr because the title sounded over-promising & salesman-y.

However, after purusing the website far longer than it warranted, I clicked on the headline. Surprisingly, it was worth the click. Most of the listed items were activities I honestly might consider. They were right on the edge of “too expensive/exclusive” for me, but still, they were viable entertainment options. And if I was staying in Vegas, I might actually consider one of them. They seemed more realistic than most Hyatt-sponsored activities.

  199. I would love to finally get to see The Blue Man Group! I hear they are fantastic!

  200. P.S. Thanks Gary for the opportunity. Tell Hyatt I tried my best to give honest feedback in my posts tonight.

  201. Never been to Las Vegas, so really all of it sounds appealing. Those hotels look impressive. Have never even stayed at a Hyatt before!

  202. Hidden Vegas Gems was a surprisingly good list. Have to check out the art at Aria next time I’m out there!

  203. Definitely go early to Vegas to check out the hotel and walk around the stripe. Then famous buffet and pub. Don’t forget to spend some time at the casinos!!

  204. I was in Vegas 3 weeks ago and did not know so many interesting Vegas facts until today.

  205. Swim with dolphin sounds fun. Can I join? Must be real cool to make a splash with dolphins at the desert! Can’t wait!

  212. The “Hidden Vegas Gems: Las Vegas Secrets Revealed” was interesting, legitimately didn’t know many of them were there, unlike most CNN ‘top 10’ lists.

  213. “Top 10 Surprising(ly Random) Things To Do in Vegas” – Neon Museum sounds like fun.

  214. Best Pools in Vegas article was useful. I reading up on similar info for my next trip to LV.

  215. The Entertainment and Food & Drink sections most interest me. Not much content yet, but nice looking site.

  218. I’m a history buff, so I was particularly interested in the “hidden gems” of Vegas part of the site.

  219. Nothing better than the dining in Las Vegas. Mix it up between all the awesome buffets and world class fine dining…heaven!

  223. Best pools in the world…take a break from gambling and recharge in the pool with cocktails. SWEET!!!

  224. The burger bars sound good to me, but then again you have the whiskey on a whim is almost too good to pass up…..

  225. I think it’s only fitting that this website causes sensory overload just like Vegas itself.

  226. I’ve had the chef’s namesake burger at Mandalay Bay’s Burger Bar – good to see that the site’s list has this mentioned first.

  227. Top 10 Surprising(ly Random) Things To Do in Vegas,
except I wouldn’t be brave enough to do the SlotZilla zipline but my husband would love it!

  228. The Top 10 Surprising(ly Random) Things To Do in Vegas gave me some great ideas for things to do on my next trip.

  232. A Whiskey in the jar, topped with mint, sounds very refreshing after a day of sight-seeing in Vegas.

  236. Wow, I didn’t know there a fine art collection in the ARIA complex. Keep updating the hidden gems!

  237. The site was actually a bit too busy. I like the idea but the info looked cluttered presented that way. I did like the feature on pools though.

  238. I really like the Random Things to Do in Vegas section – shows us that there is more to Vegas than just casinos!

  239. It’s great that you outline the best burgers in Food & Drinks — everyone loves a good burger!

  241. “3,600 LANCES smashed each year during jousting acts at Excalibur’s Tournament of Kings” — the fun facts are really interesting!

  242. the site kind of sucks. all the tiles keep moving as i scroll. I dislike that a lot.
I liked the entertainment options. I would like my hotel to have an in lobby entertainment desk. I don’t want to waste time going to the tix4less office just to know what the deals are.

  243. Hidden Vegas Gems: Las Vegas Secrets Revealed! Though its all about advertisement for expensive hotels, I hoped it would be for something interesting like Neon museum and things like that…

  244. Restaurant recommendations were great on the website. Would love to check some of them out

  245. I’ve been to Vegas quite a few times but I’ve spent more time at the Caesars hotels; I think their website will help me figure out some more enticements in the MGM hotels and activities.

  246. I would love a list and description of the best pools, although honestly I would want it to be comprehensive, not just M Life properties.

  247. Giveaways are always a great enticement for checking out their site regularly to see what’s been updated and explore what’s new at the M Life properties.

  250. Swimming with sharks (under Top 10 Surprising(ly Random) Things To Do) is the best…

  251. Hidden Vegas gems is my favorite thing on the website. Will definitely try a few of those on my next visit!

  252. Overall the whole M-Life matching CAN be useful because of the Elite Lines at Check-In and the Buffet if one is into that. No real Hyatt Status benefit, of course it’s nice that the stay counts towards GP but that’s about it.

  253. The Master Sommelier class ($80), held the third Wednesday of every month at MICHAEL MINA, looks good to me – pity is isn’t held more often as I could easily not be in town at the right time.

  254. Can I choose to earn miles for an MGM stay? I am currently registered to earn triple AA miles.

  255. I’m glad to see Hyatt getting in on the vegas game after all the aquisition of Hilton (Trump and the PH Towers) and Marriot’s play at the Cosmo. I’d like to see who else is managing properties that link to rewards programs.

  256. I’ve been impressed with Rocketmiles in the Vegas area. I booked a hotel for 2 nights at Red Roicks (off strip) for $129 and 6,000 United miles. I’ve seen some other great miles for the Wynn and Paris, up to 10,000 miles for a night! Would love to see huge mile pick-ups highlighted for the Vegas playground! 2nd entry 🙂

  257. How can I forget airlines w/all this hotel talk! United and the Cosmo partnered for some freebe items in the air (including match play and spa coupons), although i think Delta would have been a better partner. Anyhow, looking to see the fun ways to get to Vegas and any deals! For awhile US Airways was offering bonus miles for weekend trips to Vegas from DCA. 3rd entry 😛

  258. OK, last long-winded post, I promise! There is SO much more to do in Vegas than gamble (cough, cough). I love Viator.com to book tours, especially since I can earn airline miles with my credit card and with the cost, which includes Las Vegas shows too! How about other opportunities in Vegas, like Hoover Dam (the light show is amazing). Last entry! 😀

  259. I like to be able to use my Hyatt Diamond status to upgrade to a suite at the Bellagio.

  262. Love the top 10 things to do in Vegas but I don’t think I’ll be swimming with the sharks anytime soon!

  263. Wouldn’t mind exploring hotel 32 at the Monte Carlo experience. Can’t say I’ve ever had a suite assistant at my beck and call.

  264. It’s been awhile since we’ve stayed at a Hyatt property. With so many to choose from in Vegas, and I’ve always wanted to stay at the bellagio especially, we may just have to status match and take a trip.

  265. Being from Kentucky, gotta give the different whiskey drinks a try. Does anything beat basil Haden on the rocks?

  283. There’s just something, well…special…about getting off the elevator first thing in the morning, and seeing people drinking, smoking, and gambling at 7am. Because why not? It’s Vegas, after all.

  284. And also booze. Prostitutes, cocaine, and booze. 2/3 of which, as I understand it, are legal.

  285. Yes, that’s the plan: I will use 75000 Hyatt points for a room in which I will indulge my three primary interests: prostitutes, cocaine, and booze. Not necessarily in that order.

  286. The link on the site to the awesome pools available was neat. A little R&R on vacation is a must!

  302. I love that they have off-the beaten path articles such as Top 10 Surprising(ly Random) Things To Do in Vegas and Hidden Vegas Gems: Las Vegas Secrets Revealed. Everybody knows you can gamble, party and eat in Las Vegas but it is the other things that really make it unique.

  331. Looking forward to using this new program on my upcoming stay at the Mirage later this summer!

  332. The site looks pretty lame to me. The “accommodations” link provides no rates and no real info, and the first link that caught my eye on the home page – about burgers and brews – was to an empty article. Maybe they have have tech issues? Or is the site just not fleshed out?

  333. I got the burger article to load but the pain suggests that their web designer went too high-tech.

  402. Vegas is all about gambling.. but it is good to be reminded that it is a great food destination…!

  403. The Pool section! With as hot as it gets in Vegas, and with how stuffy it gets in the casinos, some fresh air by the pool is necessary!

  404. “many shades of nightlife” .. I feel like there is so much to do at night, so this could be a great help to narrow down the options

  405. Lounging by the pool to beat the heat if I can still fit into my bikini after hitting the buffet.

  406. I like Caesars, but m life has out done Caesars loyalty plan. I like the no wait line.

  407. Looking for them to add some special rates maybe as stackable with the MLife special rate offers

  408. I want to see the art from the Boston Museum. I visited the museum many years ago and still have vivid memories.

  409. Most interested in poker at the tables. Well, that, along with the shows, food and over-stimulating lights and colors.

  410. The burgers in the article, “Las Vegas’ Best Burgers and Brews make my mouth water.

  411. I didn’t realize that Vegas had art exhibits! I’m interested in that next time I go to LV.

  412. I’m also interested in the night spa at Aria. No need to reschedule my dinner reservation!

  413. I’m also interested in the night spa at Aria. No need to reschedule my dinner reservation!

  414. Hidden Las Vegas gems sounds the most interesting to me. In a city that flaunts it and doesn’t hide it, this sounds interesting.

  415. Used this relationship for a 5 night mattress run. Simply crossed the street each night between Luxor and Excalibur. Please note: I found best rates on Mlife site, not Hyatt.

  416. 5 Ways to get your Art Fix – wish the Guggenheim was still open but Bellagio can be pretty cool

  417. More info on the Pools….always wanted to check out the pool scene but never ever gotten round to it

  418. Whiskey on a whim? I think not! Whiskey because it’s always whiskey time!

  419. The “Get your art fix” article is neat; would love to visit Aria to see their collection!

  420. The thing about a good pool is that when it’s 100 degrees out, it’s one of the most refreshing things you can do.

  421. I agree with earlier posters that the hidden gems section gave some great ideas for a future trip.

  422. The regular giveaways interests me the most! Who in this community doesn’t like free stuff from Hyatt?

  423. The regular giveaways interests me the most! Who in this community doesn’t like free stuff? That’s why we are here.

  424. The regular giveaways you mention interests me the most! Who in this community doesn’t like free stuff from Hyatt?

  425. Seeing all the show and food options are the biggest selling points on the site for me.

  426. I love the idea of having fun in Vegas while earning lots of Hyatt Gold Passport points!

  427. Always love a good Vegas show

I saw Elvis in 1969- unbelievable with women throwing room keys and certain undergarments onto the stage

  428. Since we are planning our 1st trip in the fall, I love Hidden Vegas Gems – secrets revealed!

  429. I’d love to sharpen my Aerial Skills with the performers from Cirque du Soleil®

  430. My favorite thing to do in Vegas is to get out of the city and enjoy the national parks.

  431. Getting away from the strip, I go there for tradeshows mainly, and dislike all the congestion and the zoo that the city has become.

  432. Food & Drink – The “Fatty Melt” sandwich at citizens kitchen @ Mandalay Bay looks tasty!

  433. Liquid pool lounge at ARIA looks great (from Best Pools in Vegas). Would love to go!!!

  434. The info was nice but I really didn’t like the layout. Clicking pictures to see what they are about isn’t a great way to engage, certainly not for any length of time. The content seemed a little shallow.

Maybe that hurts my chances to win?

  435. Very cool and unique website. Great job! The only thing that’s missing is a small section on what a family can do in Las Vegas (and yes, I do know that Las Vegas is a playground for adults but still, substantial part of the audience is missed).

  436. Definitely the pools. I would like to go to as many as possible, or maybe just chill at the one at my hotel.

  437. I love the ice cold pool at the Bellagio on a warm day. There is beauty all around and the staff is very attentive!

  438. The pool section looks good too – never actually been to vegas in swimming weather!

  439. I like the art section (or ways to see art in vegas) as I never really thought about Vegas for art…!

  440. Wow, the cocktail reviews were really good, especially the whiskey and cola over at the Mandalay Bay.

  441. M life members can earn Tier Credits at Hyatt hotels and resorts worldwide and can opt-in to receive matched Hyatt Gold Passport status

  442. This most got 4000 replies so far, I would be curious how much replies can be generated if Gary make 15 posts of 5000 points gave away.

  443. I’ve never been much of a go-to-Vegas-sit-by-the-pool-type, but I had a few extra hours on my most recent trip and was lavished with exceptional poolside amenities that makes me want to go back for that experience alone! So pool tips for me!

  444. I think the site is too busy….but Im not a big gambler…I head to Vegas for biz conventions, so enjoyed learning of other things to do! Like best restaurants!

  445. Even more so, would be the section on the best pools in vegas that have poolside gambling!

  446. the cocktail section was also great, unfortunately they don’t give anything that complicated away table-side

  447. The hidden secret section was great, only been to vegas a handful of times and so there is a lot left to discover!

  448. I’m in the process of planning my little bro’s bachelor party so lots of good ideas!

  449. As foodie&fitness fan, so it will be: eat all the food – jump to the pool doing 50 laps – repeat as necessary, and see how many trips it take for the bikini string to cut into the stomach 🙂

  450. The Top 10 Surprising(ly Random) Things To Do in Vegas is a refreshing look at an awesome destination – thanks for sharing!

  451. M Life and Hyatt Gold Passport being tied together is a deal maker! Way to go Hyatt and M Life!

  452. I liked the write up on “Las Vegas’ Best Burgers and Brews”. I love going to Vegas and I love good burgers & beer. A perfect Fit!

  453. I’d like to travel to Vegas with my wife for the first time and enjoy what Vegas has to offer!

  454. The food looks great! Goes hand in hand with the Vegas experience! Would love to put these points to use for that!

  455. Will be a dream come true if we could( my wife & me) go there and stay at any of the MGM hotel!

  456. I’m not sure if I’d be brave enough to try the zipline, but I’d love to have the opportunity!

  457. Gamble the trust fund amount away, then hit the spa after losing all (crying in the dimmed light with zen ambiance can do wonder).

  458. Try all different restos like it were the last supper (provided they have golden caviar with the right mother of pearl spoon)

  459. Benefit the butler service to the max, as in “i would like you to change this suite color scheme into all elephant tusk white, please. And lukewarm milk bath please, you can also pour 10 boxes of fruitloops in to it, we women like to multitask”

  460. I’d like to explore more about the pool/spa options – a must do for a relaxing vacation.

  461. I’m going to say food, food, food. A super high priority on my list when traveling. Eat well. Travel well. 🙂

  462. Love to see The BLUE MAN GROUP show at Monte Carlo and then relax in After-Dark Spa Retreat at ARIA!!!

  463. I really like the main articles you see when you visit their site. They really give you the sense that Las Vegas (and Hyatt and MGM) are more than casinos. I particularly appreciated the itineraries they identify in the article “Role Reversal: A New Way to Explore Vegas.” I want to take a cocktail class, see Zumanity and visit Hakkasan!

  464. I like that links are image-driven and give you a quick way to access information about options like food and shopping.

  465. I like the “most viewed” column, which gives you a quick way of identifying detailed information that might be particularly interesting.

  466. I like “Top 10 Surprising(ly Random) Things To Do in Vegas”. Need to re-visit Vegas sometimes this year.

  467. Top 10 Surprising(ly Random) Things To Do in Vegas – my husband would love that SlotZilla zipline and I will enjoy WATCHING him do it!

  468. Make Vegas Yours – Eat, Drink, Relax, Party, Sleep, Repeat…Eat, Drink, Relax, Party, Sleep, Repeat…

  469. Food & Drink section interests me most in rediscovering the City and its culture (e.g. best burgers, cocktails, brews). Thanks.

  470. And I’ve always wanted to swim with the dolphins (although I cannot swim so it’s maybe “wade” with the dolphins?)

  471. The page on whiskey is nice. Would like to try one of those cocktails right about now!

  472. The Red Square Happy Hour sounds fun! Might try that during my next Vegas trip 🙂

  473. Love the pictures on the site but wish the layout wasn’t so spazzy. The Many Shade of Nightlife was an interesting read.

  474. I’m happy to see Hyatt connected with the M Life Vegas properties in a way that recognizes frequent travelers. There are so many ways to relax and have fun (too many to pick one) that I will definitely take advantage in the near future. Thanks for the info.

  475. My wife believes the dolphin trainer for the day is a top pick. Very few place to make that a reality.

  476. I really enjoyed the “By the Numbers: Las Vegas Fun Facts & Stats” post but then again I have a thing for numbers.

  477. Drive NASCAR, Train Dolphins for the day, relax at the “stunning” pool, eat at a world class restaurant and chill at a blues lounge. Could be the perfect day! All that’s missing is winning a million at the casino.

  478. I like the article on cocktails made with whiskey. Sounds like some great drinks to try!

  479. Overall I’m enjoying the very modern feel of the website. I like mixing in pictures, posts, articles etc. The site is still easy to navigate while being visually appealing.

  480. I like reading the Many Shades of Nightlife. I didn’t know about all of the clubs on the list so it makes planning my next Vegas trip easier.

  481. I’m most excited about burgers and brews, because food is one of my favorite things about Vegas!

  482. “after dark at the aria spa” (which is really wonderful!) sounds heeavenly!

  483. Love the Art section — would be nice to mix up things and not drink or gamble all day. Hear that Steve Wynn has quite the collection.

  484. My kiddo would love to swim with dolphins — however my wife would freak the $%&# out though!

  485. Being a bourbon lover, the section on cocktails (namely those of the whiskey variety) was cool.

  486. MLife and Hyatt…this relationship will be so beneficial! thanks View from the Wing!

  487. As many times as I have been to Vegas, I have never seen the wildlife (non-human).

  488. And at Aria too! Along with some of the best Raspberry sorbet I have ever eaten!

  489. I want to see the smoked whiskey and cola in production – and then try the results!

  490. Also the obvious feature on the M-Life and Hyatt Gold Passport merger: “You’ve been dealt a perfect hand”
    (Aka…status match!)

  491. The subcategory tab for Food & Drink unfortunately takes me back to the Wine in a Whim section, but some of those dishes still look very appetizing!

  492. And last but not least…in the Entertainment section I am sure to be visiting the Jabbawockeez show! (I think it’s called Prism this year). Thanks for holding this contest and sharing the wealth!

  493. I like reading about the random things to do Vegas, there are so many interesting things I don’t even know about. Keeps me coming back.

  494. I am VERY interested in swimming with the dolphins!! Did this once as a kid and LOVED it 🙂

  495. I’d love to take an aerial class at Shine Alternative Fitness – I’ve heard the work out is killer.

  496. Doing the Las Vegas the right way. Make Las Vegas yours in the heart of Vegas! Mandalay Bay, The Hotel, Luxor, Excalibur, MGM Grand, MGM Signature, New York New York, Monte Carlo, Aria, Vdara, Bellagio and The Mirage.

  497. Needed 1 night at ORD. Wanted Hilton O’Hare, but at $329/night, I just couldn’t justify it. So I booked the Hyatt ORD at $129. $200 more for a very similar hotel?

  498. Since I have never been, EVERYTHING interests me! It would be nice to get away with just the hubby for a change. 🙂

  499. In Jubail, Saudi Arabia, the rip-off hotel chain of Hyatt is “Hayaat”. It used to be a Hyatt until they pulled the plug

  500. I have never had a desire to visit Vegas but this might make me rethink that. There is way more going on in Vegas these days than just casinos. Looks awesome!

  501. Top 10 Surprising(ly Random) Things To Do in Vegas,
except I am not brave enough to do the SlotZilla zipline so I’ll just watch my husband do it.

  502. I’ve never been to Vegas, but I’ve heard a great deal about the fact that it is much more family friendly now than ever before. By glancing at the MakeVegasYours site, I saw “5 Ways To Get Your Art Fix in Las Vegas” that really peeked my interest! I’d love to check out First Fridays and the Painting Women exhibition! Others interested can see it here: http://makevegasyours.com/5-ways-to-get-your-art-fix-in-las-vegas-59442

  503. I also really liked the article: “Role Reversal: A New Way to Explore Vegas” as it gives a daily breakdown of some fun things to do in Vegas without falling into gender stereotypes. I’m not an up-all-night-drinking-my-life-away kind of guy, and the Culinary Classroom at Bellagio sounds much more like my style! Likewise, with Cirque shows all along the strip, seeing Zumanity would be a beautiful display of bodies and art! You can read more things to do here: http://makevegasyours.com/role-reversal-a-new-way-to-explore-vegas-58981

  504. I’m going to start with some poker, and then try the BLT Burger and beers! Sounds great.

  505. While I see some other comments posting about pools and food being such an important attraction to Vegas, I’d have to say that’s not quite a draw for me. There are world class restaurants where I live, and being close enough to an ocean, who needs a pool? Instead, I want to do something in Vegas that I cannot get back home. To me, that means something like taking a wine class with a Master Sommelier at MICHAEL MINA on a Wednesday. How cool is that?! You’ve now *learned* something that you can impress your friends with! Sure, you might have a vineyard or winery near you somewhere, but if they’re tied to a specific company or brand, you’re not able to truly taste a great collection of liquid art from various skilled Sommeliers. Why not take an impartial class, learn about the best of the best from the best of the best, and drink free wine at the Bellagio? Sounds like a winner for me! You can read more about it here: http://makevegasyours.com/top-10-surprising-ly-random-things-to-do-in-vegas-59012

  506. I was most interested in the giveaway terms, but sadly when I clicked the link, I got a 404 error…

  507. Now some amazing loose leaf tea is definitely up my style! I’d really enjoy making my way to the Tea Lounge at the Mandarin Oriental I have a small collection of loose leaf teas that I greatly enjoy sipping anytime I get a moment of downtime. I don’t travel out of the country often, but when I do, I try to pick some of the local tea and bring it back with me. Being able to sample the Mandarin Orange Blend while actually relaxing on a vacation in Vegas (gasp! Relaxation in Sin City!) sounds like a winner to me! Take a peak at some teatime here: http://makevegasyours.com/hidden-vegas-gems-7-best-kept-secrets-revealed-41546

  508. I just want to stay and play at the Bellagio! It’s always been out of our price range!

  509. I would like to dine at the Michelin-starred flagship, Joël Robuchon at MGM Grand

  517. Massage and spa section was pretty informative – would be great for an anniversary trip.

  518. I like the Top 10 Surprising(ly Random) Things To Do in Vegas section, particularly Swimming With Sharks at Mandalay Bay. Who knew?

  519. I liked the write up on “Las Vegas’ Best Burgers and Brews”. I love going to Vegas and I love good burgers & beer. A perfect Fit!

  520. However… High Tea at the Madarin Oriental sounds fun too. I do love a good green tea.. just not as much as a good beer.

  521. Love Vegas and Hyatt! You’ve Been Dealt A Perfect Hand is what I will be shooting for while there.

  522. I love the art work at the Bellagio, I would like to come back and visit Aria’s 40 million dollar fine-art collection.

  523. Well, my first was to take in the art collection at the Aria, while i am still there, I like the idea of #9 on the Top 10 surprising things to do, relax fireside inside the Spa and Salon at the Aria.

  524. After I visit the art collection at the Aria, #9 on the Top 10 surprising things to do sounds great, relax fireside at The Spa and Salon at the Aria.

  526. A suite assistant at The Hotel 32 Monte Carlo, all at my beck and call. I like the top Las Vegas secrets revealed!

  527. About the site? The search bar of course. Nothing is as helpful as a good search button.

  528. As a Hyatt GP Diamond member, and now a MLife Platinum member, I am happy Hyatt has partnered with Las Vegas. Great news for everyone, “Making Vegas Yours”!

  529. This maybe 4 or 5 , but any rate my last entry. How about just sleeping in a super large hotel room. I once did the JWMarriott for. $59 / nite. Off the strip but fit my thrills.

  530. The odds of winning this are worse than anything in Vegas. If I won the points, I’d go gaming a touch.

  531. Would love to check out all the surprisingly random things to do in Las Vegas!

  532. I’ve never thought of Vegas as a go-to Burger/Beer place, so the Burgers and Brews feature really piques my interest!

  533. Might try out one of the “random things to do” the next time I visit Vegas.

  534. The Art Scene would be a real nice change of pace from the low-brow culture that Vegas typically embraces.

  535. The After Dark Spa is my most likely (only?) destination for my wife multiple days, over anything else the resort has.

  536. “Best Burgers and Brews”. I like alliteration, but I like burgers and beer more!

  537. Pools, pools, and more pools. The happening place to be. If I win, I would gladly give back 50,000 points if you would offer two more readers the chance for 25,000 points each. Would be awesome for three people to win vs just one.

  538. 5 ways to get your art fix – the Bellagio collection is supposed to be amazing.

  539. I am most interested in where to eat because there are so many choices and also so many I don’t even know about.

  540. I’d make Vegas mine by undertaking each one of the 10 surprising(ly random) things to do in Vegas over my three night stay in the MGM using those 75000 points!! The only thing left after those 10 experiences would be to sink my teeth into the best burgers Vegas has to offer before letting my nocturnal side take over control in MGM’s Hakkasan nightclub.

  541. The activities is essential since Vegas is a place where there are limitless options that it hurts your head to choose..

  542. Wow am I really 5,000? Can I get that many Hyatt Gold Passport points? This works like the radio, right? Anyhow, I like the pools and food. Would love to try to out pools/spa at Mandalay Bay.

  543. Most interesting thing about the site is giving a broader perspective on things to do than most reviews or my past experiences, both of which tend to be more focused on a small set of things. Which makes sense seeing as most people are there for limited times on limited budgets, but still.

  544. Knowing that anything can happen in Las Vegas – your dreams can really come true!

  545. Akhob, James Turrell’s walk-in light installation for Louis Vuitton at The Shops at Crystals

  546. 10 Random Things to Do looks like it would give ideas to make your trip memorable.

  547. Hanging with my husband by the best pools in Vegas sounds like a great trip waiting to happen! Come on Gary, help me make it happen.

  549. 10 things to do in Vegas. (Seems like Aria hotel is mentioned in a lot of articles…)

  550. I’m intrigued by the aerial classes found under the “Top 10 Surprising(ly Random) Things To Do in Vegas.” I just might know what I’m doing on my next trip to Vegas!

  551. It’s pretty cool that there are several fine art galleries to visit while in Vegas, but I haven’t been to the Las Vegas Contemporary Arts Center yet (because I didn’t know about it until now!). That might be a nice way to spend an afternoon.

  552. The “You’ve Been Dealt a Perfect Hand” article explaining more about these merged programs!

  553. I would love the chance to stay at one of the Villas mentioned in “Hidden Vegas Gems: Las Vegas Secrets Revealed”!

  559. I won’t be taking a pet but will let family members who do take pets know that they have good options.

  560. The overall effect is exciting but a little dizzying and overwhelming- like Vegas!

  561. I’s like to see James Turrell’s walk-in light installation at the Shops at Crystals.

  562. Honestly the entire interface of the page (mainly the sidebar) sparked my interest into what the site/vegas had to offer because it was in an organized/creative fashion.

  563. I’m all about the food in Vegas now. Who would have thought that the land of the less-than-tasty buffet would become a dining mecca, but it has! Bravo, LV!

  564. I’m intrigued with the 10 surprisingly random things to do in Vegas. Swimming with sharks – how cool is that!

  567. The best pools in Vegas – we are planning a trip there in the middle of August.

  568. The art feature is intriguing. Been to Bellagio and Aria many times, perhaps I will check out the art next time

  569. I like the Las Vega’s Best Burgers and Brews section. The PB Crunch peanut butter burger sounds interesting.

  570. Also, the art feature is great, it helps you appreciate the amazing collection.
