Hilton HHonors has made two minor updates to its terms and conditions. (Click on each to enlarge)
The phrase ‘double dipping’ has returned to the description of choosing your (points + points vs. points + miles) earning style. This is something I asked the program’s head about some months back, since it’s one of the two unique selling propositions for HHonors (along with breakfast) in my mind I didn’t understand why they had abandoned it.
In addition to internet access not being an elite benefit where hotels include it in their make-believe description of what ‘resort fees’ get you (so that elites can’t use it to argue they shouldn’t be charged the resort fee), Hilton also makes clear that internet access doesn’t have to be free in meeting areas. Neither clause is for the benefit of members.
Speaking of Hilton…
When booking a room in Milan a few months ago for the EXPO you had the option of picking the LGBT room discount. (in the same section as the AAA discount) You got a lower rate, free yr subscription to OUT and free drinks. No proof needed.
The person with the issues is the sick one. Keep it to yourself. Hopefully your gay children and grand children will forgive you.
@Bobby = @ED, one of only 3 people ever asked to no longer comment here for his racist and homophobic rants. His comment has been deleted.
Speaking of Hilton Honors, what’s the best way to get 4000 HHonors points? Are there transfer partners? I’ve got the Chase Sapphire and SPG Amex, but I’m pretty sure both their points are worth more than a penny each. 🙂
