- Aer Lingus and Alaska Airlines will offer reciprocal frequent flyer earn and burn. So another option for redeeming Mileage Plan miles, and for crediting Aer Lingus flights. The partnership launches in May but given the challenges that Alaska has had introducing redemptions for recent partner-adds Finnair and Singapore we’ll see how long it takes before you can use your miles for Aer Lingus travel. PER-LHR is still 500+ miles shorter than EWR-SIN that SQ used to operate, so it may be Qantas’ longest pax flight ever, but it is not *the* longest passenger flight ever.
@Ben, I think he meant to type “their”. AKL-DOH is also longer than the Qantas flight.

I was in a Hilton Hotel restaurant in Sydney having dinner during Earth Hour
sitting in the darkness
No one bothered to mention it so I thought it was an emergency or power failure
No drink was offered that I was made aware of
Odd event but even so they might consider letting guests no in advance!
