This is a rather unusual offer that combines some of pandemic-era innovation with a traditional stay x, get y free promotion.

Hyatt’s ‘Work from Hyatt’ offer of day use rooms has been a Covid-19 strategy similar to what some other chains have employed, to repurpose guest rooms as a place for people to work from home, while getting out of the house – not everyone with an office job has a home set up for focused work, especially while kids have been doing Zoom School in the house.

Hyatt has an Extended Stay Offering of 5 or more night stays (‘for extended work adventures’ another pitch to combine leisure travel as an add-on to work travel) available at 120 properties and they’re promoting the offer with a free Office for the Day after completing an extended stay package reservation between May 1 and June 30. The complimentary office booking (day use room) has to be used by September 12, 2021 which is the current end date of that program.

As always, you’ll want to compare the pricing of any package to other offers because it may not be the cheapest way to book, but when it is and you’ve got a long stay it’s interesting to get a free day room as a throw-in to use later at the same or different participating property.

While I’m planning a 4 night stay just after the promotion period, I have a very low likelihood of a 5 night Hyatt stay in time. Still I very much appreciate the creativity here.

You must provide your World of Hyatt membership number at the time of check-in for each stay.
