  1. So if the TSA finds marijuana in your suitcase, do they have to tell the Chicago police who then makes the passenger put it in the less-than-secure amnesty box? When I travel around the USA, I’m noticing a lot of states where marijuana distribution is now huge, and heavily advertised. I assume some travellers from states where it’s not legal will be wanting to bring the pot home with them. This sounds like a problem.

  2. Oh no, I am guilty. Around 2005, I saw an amnesty box with stuff including a nice small pair of scissors at Fort Lauderdale. I took the scissor to cut a loose thread then was going to put it back but decided they are going to harm the planet by throwing it in a landfill so I kept the little scissors. I still have it and have washed it.
