Man Loses It on Way to Seoul, Cracks Aircraft Window With His Tablet

A 31-year-old man became violent on a Korean Air flight from Los Angeles to Seoul on Wednesday.

The man caused a disturbance, including using abusive language, threats and violence, during the flight, according to Korean Air Lines Co., South Korea’s national flag carrier.

As the aircraft descended into Incheon airport he threw his tablet device at the window by his seat — breaking the plastic pane on the interior of the aircraft.

The man was interviewed by police and then released to a relative, with an officer remarking that he did not appear to be drunk. Flight crew reportedly refused to serve him alcohol because of his behavior on board. The officer, speaking under a request for anonymity, suggested that he was “a bit mentally strange.”

  1. I hope that Korean Air go after him for full damages for the plane and disruption, bankrupting him if necessary. If he’s mentally ill, he should not be flying: if he isn’t he needs to learn a lesson.

  2. They weren’t warm and salty send them back!
Where is the nut lady manager when you need her?

  3. If it was a Samsung Tablet, he would have been sent to North Korea for reindoctrination. So it must have been an iPad which didn’t save his latest work document. The officer concluded he was mentally strange because how else could one explain a decision to buy an Apple tablet when the Galaxy Tab A with S pen (S for Stylus? Samsung is so original), 10.1″ HD screen, and Nougat OS and the ability to use an infinite number of Samsung SD cards is available for 6 flex payments of 39.99? I mean, the iPad couldn’t even go through a cheap plastic window, whereas the Samsung, with real time location tracking, would have waiting for him at KAL baggage claim upon landing. And both windows would need fixing, provided the plane survived his attack.

  4. So his nuts were twisted in a bag and he was frustrated they were not on a plate so he lost hid nuts
